Hi!

We are two friends from Portugal who have bought some months ago a Volvo 340 1.7 for a low-budget drift car...

This is the car when we bought it:

Some weeks later.. no mods yet. Just put him on an decent form

The car is now stopped, but soon it'll be back on the road :D

The only mod that it has is a Volvo 440 GL carburator wich made some difference. It may have arround 90bhp for now... Not much

We don't have much money nor technical knowledge... That's why we registerd were in driftworks...hope that you guys can help us in some things to make this thing drift!

Maybe next week the car will be lowered and make something to stiffer the suspension

First questions:

What's the best camber/toe/castor settings to drift?

If we put spacers (is this the word?) in the whells be best for drift?

Waiting for your answers :worthy:

Alrite mate, from speaking to Nev his recommendation was to leave the stock camber/toe/caster, doubt spacers are going to help and if your lowering the car then you may have issues with arch scrubbing with spacers on (mine only just fit inside the arch), was a damn shame about your turbo engine, why do they have to be so strict over there :euge:

Well... And still the car with the stock values after 16 years? :D

I'm not lowering that much... Just arround 2cm/2.5cm... If I lower more than that I'll have the same situation has with the motor.. Problem with the police and in the inspection..

About the engine.. I have some ideas, but first of all I need money :smokin:
