112k miles , Full History , No Rust (anywhere)

New pads all round for mot , passed 1st time , advisory on a slightly surface rust exhaust.

Pulls like a train.
Slides like a Boat
Stops very well.

4 good tyres , Tan leather heated frontseats interior , AC , EW , EM , ABS , PS , ICE , 4+O/drive
12 months mot , 3mths tax.
Turbo works well no smoke.

Only mods are drilled airbox/disconnected recirc valve(flutters when lifting off :)) , standard map and standard boost.

May have LSD may not?(see below)

Was gonna use it as a daily driver but the 25mpg i'm getting on short journeys is a little unacceptable for my wallet.

Location is in Manchester
, But can deliver anywhere at cost of fuel and train ticket + lunch home.

£385 or close offers (Remember folks this one has full mot) , May consider a swap/px for a Ke70/sierra/bmw or similar or s13 parts like a diff or seats or bodykit.

Ring me on 07743524516 , Graham

Thanks

Nice, good luck with the sale, but just so you know, they don't have any form of LSD :) it's the setup and weight distribution that sometimes cause the rear to pull round :) The diff is totally open, but will sometimes allow drifting :) Just so you know

Cool cheers , it looks quite surreal in a full on sideways moment.

Kinda like seeing your mum dancing to techno.

Tell me about it, was out teaching Baba and some of the Teamm SS boys about battling two weeks ago, they got scared when they kept seeing a 940 estate on the lock stops nailed to their door handles :D Hence why I've just bought a 740 2.3 turbo with a mig diff :D :D TO be honest, for most stuff, as long as it's wet, you can just use the open diff :D Mig would be insane :D

Stop it you make me wanna drop it , mig it and keep it.
You should :smash: What's the point of selling it? What can you get for that money that will give you anywhere near the giggle factor. You should see the look on peoples faces as they see me come round a roundabout arse-end first :D It's priceless each and every time :D

P.S. Does the airbox thing really work? I was gonna do it to mine LOL but wasn't sure it would do what i wanted LOL

It does flutter , just quietly. About 1/2 the volume of my s13.

Enough to keep me amused.

Right..... it won't actually flutter, its because the turbo actually has a re-circ valve in it which puts it back into the airbox to muffle it, so thats why you can hear it blowing off with the holes drilled in it. You might find theres a small plastic one way valve in the hose connecting it to the intake mani, if you turn it the opposite way round then it'll flutter ;)

Also I think some wentworths did come with an LSD so this one might well have it, strange I know that they put it on the 2L turbos but not on most of the 2.3 turbos, only the 2.3 sport ones

I guess if i cut that hose and put a stopper in each end it would do the same thing too?

Got any pics of what that might look like? Just so I know what to turn around :) I'm shit with engines LOL
Sorry for the O.T.

Its ok , I don't mind the bumping. :D

Just to add will consider anything as a Part ex , s13 bits , digi SLR camera , PS3 , drifty bits , bodykits , smaller cheap motor.

:dw:

Errrm trouble is I don't know if they have a one way valve in them as standard, since all mine has been bodged together and was never meant to be on the car! If it hasn't got one you can take one from another part of the car to test it, if the cars got re-circ then there will be one in the engine bay coming from the intake manifold for that. Looks like:

Can see the arrow on it here:

Not sure how much you'll hear it with the standard airbox though

I just chopped mine and put a screw in each end , haha , NOW IT FLUTTERS!!!!!

MINT! :D

PS. It doesnt have a one way on mine.

Id not just block it, like all dumpvalves, if there no pressure getting to the other side of it all thats holding it shut is the spring, which isnt enough, so will leak slightly under load, giving less performance at worst, an overspeeding and quicker dying turbo at best.

1way valve like Ali said is a wise plan, as it ends up always pressurised on the other side, meaning it never opens.

I've put it back to standard now as the un dumped air seemed to play havoc with the airflow meter and it would cut out at junctions.

Ah well , live and learn.

Diff gonna be welded at some point this week , also gonna lower it asap.

Pics up soon , still for sale if anyone fancies a YidDriftmobile.
