Car starts first click of the key any weather and runs like clockwork, I do a lot of motorway driving so primarily it is used for long runs (ie 300-400 mile round trips). It is really comfortable and pleasant car to drive. I fitted the high spec interior and wheels, suspension and all replaced parts below with reciepts for everything. The old suspension, interior and wheels are fine and included with the car if you want it.

Additional Information:

New items:
Windscreen (old one had a crack)
rear lights (old ones had a crack)
genuine fitted deep pile mats

Genuine sump (I damaged it when I lowered the car)
Driver & Passenger side window regulators (common problem)
Number plates (old ones looked grotty)
Fold out cup holder (old one was broken)
Genuine VW GTi Leather gearknob/gaitor (old one looked shabby)
Passanger side wheel arch liner (old one was missing)
Bumper crash bar (old one looked a bit shite when I took off the bumper to do the cambelt so ordered a new one, £30 delivered from GSF

Points of Interest:
- Adjustable NEW front coilies
- Matching tires all round
- Central locking (full closure as standard)
- Electric windows (as above)
- Electric mirrors (and heated/tinted)
- Engine uses no oil at all and engine/underside is spotless
- No smoke, not even on startup
- Very very good condition 16" GTi Wheels
- working air conditioning
- power steering
- polished rocker cover (engine is spotless, not a drip from anything)
- intercooler model
- Super drop lowering springs for the rear included
- GT deep sided interior (spare original interior included)
- Included are the original 16" steel wheels
- 8 speaker system (VW factory fitted)
- Fold down cubby box/central rear arm rest
- 60/40 folding rear seats (back goes completely flat)
- Height adjustable seats (if you're a short ass like me)
- All spares and service parts available in abundance CHEEEEEEEEEEEAP!!!
- 50 miles per gallon all day long!!!

Bad points:
-few little marks around car as expected from car parks etc.
-front bumper is shabby but have ordered a replaced which I'm waiting on
-mileage is high but runs like clockwork, and pretty quick off the mark

Very interested mate, but I feel 2k is a bit rich for age and mileage. What will you consider as a p/x?

Dude its a diesel motor. It's not about to die anytime soon and I defy you to find one with a better running engine than this :thumbs: Full service with real parts a month ago. Bills for everything I've done and spent on it since December (around a grand), spotless engine, long tax, decent spec, completely not barried up, I think £2k for a car thats only 10 aint too bad, baring in mind the MPG you will get and it's a Golf so will always be able to sell it for alright money.

I don't really want a P/X as I already got 4 other cars and want to go traveling but you are welcome to offer me something mate, worst i'm gonna do is politely decline. :)
 
2k is pretty much bang on the money with the miles and it and lets face it with 200k on the clock the engines just broke in lol

Thank you chap and you totally right. These engines dont run in till 125-150k nowadays. Fucking crazy when you think about it! :smash:

Understand what your saying, but it's still strong. I'm very serious and very interested but around the 1700 mark.
 
Well come down with some money, have a look at it, take it for a little drive, You can say you like it, I will say I want a bit more and we'll shake hands on £1800. I'll pm you my number. Already had a few dreamers who talk the talk so hopefully will hear form you dude. (by the way I was the flu'd up co pilot that met you when David the Chinaman bought your SSR's in some shopping centre car park somewhere) :thumbs:
 
Anyone? I've already had enough from the Jokers on ebay throwing their toys out of their prams when being told "No thanks" to shitty offers like £1400.
