1971 VW type 2 bay window camper 1600cc for sale.
Was bought as a project about 4 years ago but never got round to starting on it. All that time its just been sat in the corner of the garage. I believe the last time it was on the road was in 2001 (last mot certificate) where it was taken off for a rebuild and not seen the road since. Millage is 44,000.
Theres loads of reciepts showing the engine being fully bebuild in 2001 along with lots of other new parts costing £3300. The engine hasnt done much since its rebuild and still runs sweet, started up fine today for the first time in around 3yrs and had a little drive up and down the driveway in it today which the brakes were a little seized.
The body works in need of alot of tlc, the underneath seems pretty solid and both front doors were good second hand rust/rot free. Also has 2 new unfitted rear arches and sills. There is a box of spares including crome mirrors/light surrounds/handles etc. There is no glass for the front and back windows but still have the seals.
