It is with some regret that my 2000 plate S14a is up for sale. It is making around 300bhp and 325lbs torque with graphs to prove power output.
I have owned her since the start of October 2006, for which I have had much pleasure in driving her. My reason for selling? Well, I’ve decided to go back to University in October so I’ll no longer be working full-time so unfortunately sacrifices have to be made.
It has only done 57,000 miles which is very good for a 7 rd old car. I also have PSH which includes the most recent MOT certificates and documents for the last few years; however I am missing some of the earlier certificates. I also have receipts for some of the work carried out on the car.
It really is a genuinely nice example that never fails to put a smile on my face. It handles superbly and the ride is smooth as silk. The engine is as solid as a rock, and pulls very hard to the redline in every gear with no hesitation regardless of the amount of revs. There is no smoke, rattles or any unwelcome noise from the engine bay.
The bodywork is good for a car of this year. There are the odd couple of scratches here and there, but nothing too severe. The shine from the paint work, accompanied with the colour really sets this car apart and looks dazzling after a polish in the sunshine.
The interior is in good condition with a few wear marks which can be expected due to the age of the car. The inside will receive a complete deep clean prior to sell to ensure it is in excellent condition throughout.

As I said before, there are no real problems with the car mechanically or externally. The only issue I can think of is the alarm/central locking system. I have recently installed a NATS 2 alarm system which I purchased off a fellow SXOC member. In addition to the alarm there is a master key fob and a secondary key fob. I’ve installed the alarm however I’m having problems setting it up with the fob. I aim to have this resolved before she is sold, but I thought I may as well mention it.
Due to the overall condition, mileage and spec. I am looking for around
£6000 ono. I feel this is a fair price; however I am open to sensible offers.
