Wanted Wanted 235/40/17 tyre for road, not drifting

I've got a set of road 17's but one of the rear tyres has a hole in the sidewall. Has anyone got a decent 235/40/17 kicking about? I've got two 245/45/17's (3-4mm), a 255/40 (same), a 225/50/16 and 245/50/16, both excellent tread if anyone fancies a swap of some sort.

Alternatively, will the 245/45's be okay on a 9" rim or look too ballooned? I'd like to sort this with as little cash as possible, so I can take the Buddy Clubs off and respray them to either sell on or drift. (They're 16's:()

Cheers

I wouldnt reccomend having odd tyres on the back.. 245s will go on ok but look a 'bit' bloated. Std GTR size on the 9" is 245/45

No, they're not odd, mate-I have a pair of 245's, but would rather keep to the 235's as the other one is pretty mint, and looks the right size on the rim

i've got one knocking about. swap it for the 245s no probs dude. should be rolling past next week?

Has it got plenty much road tread?

If I've not got one by when you roll down this way, I'll swap ya  Would prefer one ASAP though :)

about 5-6mm tread? no edgewear. pretty much spanking :D

No worries Sam, I'm sorted

Enormous thanks to Wixsy for driving down to meet me in Colchester and providing me with two cracking tyres. Nice to meet you mate  :worthy:

Mitto, I'll still swap those 245's for your tyre if you want, so I'll have another pair of 235's
