Wanted WANTED - AE86 Wheel Nuts

Hello all.

I am after a set of AE86 wheel nuts.

One of my locking nuts is about foobared so I figured it would be best to get a nice new set (not locking - or maybe still locking) - or at least 4.

Can a brother help me find a set ?
(I think my hachi already has long hub studs if that matters)

I just use normal ones from a local Motor Factors.. Like, £1.50 each or something?

I have a few but not very good nick! (rusty) Dont forget that mk1 MR2/Corolla GT & GTI wheel nuts fit and are almost identical in look, and are easy to get hold of from a scrap yard!

Ah - goodo

I wondered if they were like some weirdo thread - will get my a$$ to the local tyre fitters.

Ian,

Depends on what wheels your fitting them to obviously, whether you'll need a tapered or sleeved nut. Stock Toyota alloys need stock Toyota sleeved nuts like AE82/AE92/AW11/MA61/ST1xx Celicas etc etc. MA70 ones'll work also but are a bit long on the drive side so look a bit gay.

I got loads I can bring ya if you're at Wheeeeeeeeels on Sunday?

Will - I'll be popping to brum on Sun all being well - but the hachi may not be able to.

John,

Front bumper I belive is a Y's - JonT on aeu86.org is trying to get 5 people interested - if so - I'm gonna loan him it to make some copies as I'm sure I'll twat this one at some point. Side Skirts are stock - rear bumper is stock but it has a lower vallance on it - dunno who its made by but again we can get copies.

The Zorst is an APEXi N1 I believe - has a trust tubular manifold and T3 cat pipe (JDM cars have a cat for some reason).

I think my longchamps and (hopefully) dori 2s use the taper nuts - but will check.

John,

you need to register as a user to see it - worth registering m8 - they are a nice bunch. JonT can also get fibreglass, kevlar or carbon wings, bonnets, boot lids, std bumpers etc. Hunt down the thread.

If you just need ordinary tapered wheel nuts, I think Toyota's are M12x1.5 which is the same as most trailers and caravans use so you can get them new from trailer/caravan & camping accesory shops

Although useful info from Mr Rat, there's no need to Mr. Ian, as I have millions of the buggers you can have for bugger all (a small donation to my pikey projects fund would be appreciated though ;) ). I'll bring a load on Sunday mate... you'll find me hiding under a shelter of rust in the Transit.

Nice one will - I'm probably gonna be heading over to brum in my wifes rollerskate (smart) as the hachi is off to the bodyshop tonight.

Will hunt down your special rust shelter when I get there.
