S13 For Sale
Rear ABS sensor needed for my S13. Not especially urgent as I'm not selling the car yet, nor is the MOT due (read that I'm not desperate enough to pay silly money) but I'd like one before the weather gets too cold to fit it.

Its the sensor on the diff if anyone is breaking an S13 and doesn't know where the rear ABS sensor is. :)

C'mon peeps, people swap sell rear diffs all the time, do all of them need the ABS sensors?
 
LOL I know, the reason that statement is so funny is that's what my MSN name currently is LOL

I know ABS is crap and I know it sucks for drifting, but I want it repaired before I either sell it or have to MOT it, I can always remove the fuse when drifting. ;)
 
You dont need ABS for MOT? I didnt have it. I think if you disconnect the ECU then it's OK? It's the ECU in the drivers side rear. Post on SXOC - Wanted is best bet.
 
I know where the ABS ECU is, thats how I read the fault code and was able to find out that its the sensor on the rear diff that has had it. I took it off the car and the resistance is too low.

For an MOT iirc, they check the ABS light comes on with ignition, then goes out when the car is started, of course with the fuse pulled out or the ABS not working, the light remains on, therefore its a fail.

Sooooooooo, anyone got a sensor?
