Wanted WANTED: Starlet 5 speed & other bits?

Looking at a 4k swap from a ke70, but the 5 speed maybe a bit of a job to mod to fit - so really looking at a k50 from a kp as an easier alternative.

saying that anything 4k or starlet-y let us know?

I have a few spares here like grille, headlight surrounds for a mk3 kp

Also have rear lights.

now its not what you asked for but you never know.

Im using a 4k and am just gonna use a 4 speed.
 
any pics or condition of the headlight surrounds? Mines not really bad but also not amazing......

also any other bits? front bumper would be coolio.

Yours an auto at the moment right? and is yours a mk 2?
 
Ive got a 5 spd box in mine attached to my 4k (previous owner) - i just assumed it was normal?
 
yeah 4k's come with the k50.

Tetsujin's was(is) an auto if i remember so i reckon he's just going for a 4 speed (??)

And yes its a mk2

But I have a 4k that been 'played with' and have a 1979 mk1 for spares now that has a 40k 2k with 4 speed so using that.

Not to bothered about it only having 4 gears

Also, putting the mk1 front end on the car and keeping the mk2 front end as a spare incase I ever crash!!


Stripped mine out completly last nite.

I removed the dash, hearter matrix, rear end, steering coloum etc.

All the front end is also removed

just gota get it up on asxle stands now so that I can weld the new gearbox mounts as they ar diffrent with it being an auto.

Then, fix any repairs that need doing underneath (not much) and then underseal the underside of the car, take engine out, preap car to be sprayed (black ive decided on now!) and then build it back together

I really want my bumpers cromed. does anyone know where I can get this done thats any good??

And has anyone got any pics of what there kp's look like at the mo??

I'm feeling the bug eyes so lets see some pics? Seems a bit of a job there with the auto x member but you thinking the 4k would bolt up to the K40 no probs?

you have pm too btw keeping it on topic, any wheels for the kp?
 
ell I bought the car of the other Adam on here and the 4 spped box is already bolted to the 4k no problem, so I hope it works!!

got a few sets of wheels

have 2x Work equips
2x Enkei Mesh
2x Starsharks

All 14in though and really want 13 nut dont have the funds to get new wheels and tyres but these are not for sale, sorry!

I dont have a digi camera yet but think I need to to record what I am doing to the car!!

I wana put a 4age in it one day

yeah i was thinking 13s too and was thinking finalstage or similar from yahoo japan but it's money I don't need to spend for now. more important to get the fundamentals etc unless the rims were cheap lol

hmm....... still like the option of a k50 from a kp. anyone else??
