wasted spark kit problem

bought one of your wasted spark kits, turned up today so ive been fitting it.

the problem i have got is that the metal contact inside the longest lead has come off the lead. all i did was put the lead on a plug and then remove it.
 
hmm, that's not great.
The ends do just crimp onto the wire, so it's possible to put it back together, but without the right tool it can be very fiddly to get it 100% right. If you give us a ring today or send some details over to sales@driftworks.com we'll see what we can do about getting a replacement sent out cos that shouldn't be happening :no:
 
Has happened on one of my leads too. Could this lead to misfire issues if one or more is loose / not crimped on properly?
 
your better off giving the shop a call, they are very helpful.

We're not aware any of you have had problems with the leads??? Aside from Norfy who rang us last week we'd not heard of any of your problems. Now we know, we're going to have words with our lead manufacturer and try and get them made elsewhere!

If anybody EVER has a problem with ANY of our products, no matter how small, just call us!!!!! I'll make sure it gets sorted. It sounds like our leads have gone seriously downhill if there are this many problems, we need to know about problems like this so we can fix them!
