I'm new to all this, I might be answeing my own question here.

Is a welding diff, litterally getting a diff and welding it so its locked up, and you end up with a solid rear axle? or is it something else?

cheers,
Steve

yep, does the job quite well, bit pikey when moving the car at low speeds and cost not alot, i have one in my s14 and its well good.

its ok when i am driving in the wet, when it goes it goes hard be ready for it else yo gonna be facin the wrong way.

just about, its not for the noob when used on the road in the rain, you have to watch out as every rounderbout turns into a full on drift.

going for an uprated s14 diff next the welded one is a bit too extreme for road use, i have been pulled twice now and acused of wheelspinningm these sp9000 tyres i have on the back scream at low speeds :(

Already been pulled twice?? Blimey.

You have to learn not to turn sharp corners with coppers about... :wack:

Anyway ant, you probably were wheelspinning....as you sit there doing a huuuge burnout "no officer, it's just the diff"....

Just fitted mine yesterday.

Works really well on the street - no vices as far as I can tell so far.

Will be drifting it on Sunday at Bovingdon for the first time.

Good call James
