Welded IS200 Diff issues!

Sorry to be that idiot who asks as I'm sure you're all gonna have a laugh reading this lol but here it goes:

After watching many tutorials and reading on here how to do it, I've welded up the diff on my IS200 today. Everything went well.

I do know about the wheel hop and that in low-speed narrow turns the car should hop and clunk about.

HOWEVER! My Lexus seems to make a pretty loud metally noise which can be felt very strongly. It's almost like a hit as if I'd constantly be hitting potholes. This noise is not only occurring in low-speed sharp turns but even in up to 20-30mph in a regular 40 degree angle corner where I assume the wheel would no longer hop? I've watched a few videos on what welded diffs feel like to drive daily and none seemed to encounter this issue and mentioned how above 5-10mph you feel none of it.

I can feel the hits/clunking in the shifter when I turn and it almost feels like the car moves back and forth a tiny bit, its kinda hard to describe.

It sounds like its coming from the prop shaft or gearbox.

After conducting a search online I found a few forums saying it could be the rear subframe and that poly bushes should fix this issue, so that will be my next step. Can anyone recommend some? and which ones should I replace?

Sorry about all the stupid questions lol I'm very new to the welded lifestyle :P

Try turning with the car out of gear and clutch pedal not pressed. I get a loud clunking noise (almost as if the engine, gbox, propshaft and diff are all shuddering, which they probably are ha) when making slow turns. When the car is as described above (in neutral and clutch disengaged) there is no noise. I think it's normal my cars done it since I welded the diff a while ago. Nothing has fallen off... yet.

Yeah even turning without a gear engaged and the clutch not pressed it makes the clunk. I do think its my rear subframe moving about. It feels like a tyre has falled off the rim or its got a really bad flat or the wheel not being bolted up properly the moment that I steer even the slightest. I will order a polybush subframe kit and diff kit and then see what its like :)

Don't bother just buy locking collars solid diff mounts to the rear subframe will move about the bushes are made of cheese you'll get a little wiggle as you give it hard driving I've had is200/300 for about 6/7 years now
