standard atm.... on advise from a member...

gonna strip it, lock the rear diff and tune all i can from it on my budget (free) lol

pics as and when :)

Jon

welcome dude.. first, strip it's guts, everything must go.. get some uprated suspension, polybush it., weld the diff(do it right or it WILL let you down), get a budget seat and harness and awaaaay we go..!

injection or carb matey? it should be a decent first drifter :D

listen to touge monsters advice. youl only save about 50kg of stripping though until you take out the tar sound deadening on the floor and replace front seats with buckets and get some plastic windows. good luck :)

Id say removing the sound deadening is a good move. On a Sierra there would be LOADS! Even on an S14 it summat like 15 odd kilos with the carpets aswell IIRC.

s13 is 24kgs :o

sierra is fun i have one too, bone stock, even the suspension, just stripped.

yeh Matt its all gonna come out... ive done a few track cars in my time, 3 or 4... but ive NEVER EVER done a drift car... and its the Carb model.... so i dunno if thats better or worse.. can always hit it with the classic "twin webber' man" lol

Jon

carb - woop woop!!

injection is normally better but the carb model is 10kg lighter as standard ;) ive got a carb btw. theyve got same torque as injection but 109bhp instead of 125bhp. and they have no rev limiter obviously so cant be quite so crazy with the throttle!

ask people who were at silverstone on sunday theyll tell you that a sierra is good enough for some fun!
