What helmet do you use?

Looking to get a helmet as it's a requirement for most drift days.

eBay seem to have a good selection for reasonable money £25~£40.

Can anyone reccomend any?

I prefer wearing this on track compared to my brothers big bucks motorbike lids, as this is a lot lighter doesn't pad up your ears too much blocking sound.

Are you not allowed the open face helmets that don't cover you jaw/mouth/eyes?

Yeah you are. My dad wears an open face helmet that just has a visor that comes down if you need it.

I use a open face scooter helmet, much better visibility than with a full face.

I use a sparco one I got from demon tweeks. Search ebay for their shop. Cost me 73 squid.

I'm using an OMP Open face, was about £60...

Practise days I used to use a motocross one as you have more purifial vision
Events I use Omp Velcone or what ever it was called

There is a difference between car and bike helmets and I know its dangerous to use one on the other but can't remember which way round it is

I use the cheapest helmet I can as theres nothing in my head to protect from da rollcage yo !!

I also use string instead of belts, my new cage is in fact soil pipe and my suit is made from an old duvet !!

Luckily I found an old halogen fire extinguisher and my safety cutoff is a nail on a spring.

Saving all that cash on safety stuff has improved my drifting no end and has allowed me to buy loads of cool stuff from Japan, get some proper stance and enough stickers to sticker bomb my new carbon fibre coffin
