Wheel and arch question

Suuup,

right I have some nice new volk racing cv pro wheels 17x8.5 now I am under the belief that some arch rolling may be in order on my is200! :D

damn low offsets ;]

anyway has anyone had any past experiences or know people that have rolled the arches or even used over fenders? as I have seen some might fine altezza's and is200's with it but i haven't gotta clue whether its a custom fender (as aerokit sell reasonably priced ones)

HELP PLEASE!!

That'd be fine I ran 18x8.5 et35 front and 18x9.5 et35 rears with 225/40's All round with the arches rolled
Mine was lowered about 50mm I think on coilovers you can kind of see in the pictures the fitment the camber on the back was from the lowering

cant see the picture.

i really dont see how a 8.5 et38 sticks out on an is200

i ran 9j et5 front and 10j et5 rear on mine with the tiniest of arch rolls. really wasnt an issue

darn it will try upload one! and oooh in that case i may be able to get away with it! you run any stretch? thanks for your help mate! :D

little update i figured there might be something wrong with the 17 x 8.5 volks i bought off a ebay seller (who wierdly enough sells nothing but wheels and other related bits and pieces) i figured he had measured them before selling obviously not lol they are 9.75 wide FUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCKKKKKKKKK so I might be selling them haha!

ah could do dex just gotta figure out what to do with the fronts :P and yeah measured them their stamped but the offset is removed for some reason. im not very good with this whole stance fitment thing lol

Yes but how did you measure them? As wheel width is measured from the inner lip of the rim with the tyre off. Not the full width

So I'd be very suprised If in fact it wasn't you that measured them wrong as I don't even think volk make wheels 9.75j wide and people generally don't lie and sell wheels bigger than stated as there worth more money!

Have you even tried them on the car yet?

yeah i might of measured them wrong lol probably 9.5 then as theres not much in it on the lip but yeah i've test fitted them i'll try put a pic up!

I had a company called archenemy do mine on Sunday, heated the arch, rollwed it and perfect, no cracking and im running 255's on an mr2 lol

I rolled the rear and the front rolled its self drifting :)
I have 3 deg of camber on the front with 17x8.5 et0
Back is 17 x9 et 20 at 1.5deg camber but more camber lower offset etc
Computers broke so look through my build thread Altezza rs400 for pics

The best looking fitment is 17x9.5 et 30 all round but u will hit arms on lock at the front
