Hi,
I know I am supposed to know before I get to the shop but...
I need some help with sizes of wheel to fit my soarer. I'm looking at Rota grids or gtrs.
Sorry to ask , I have also posted a query in the tech section re offsets etc.

Richard

Soarer wheels have the following specs

5 stud with a PCD (Pitch Circle Diameter) = 114.3mm (same as Australian AU& BA Falcon, Magna, Lexus, Toyota)
offset of +45 to +50mm (Fords and Nissans have offset around the +38mm mark - stick out further than Toyota wheels)
Centre bore or spigot hole of 60mm (aftermarket rims have a large centre bore that needs a spigot ring to fit the Soarer)
So i think most 5x114.3 as in s14/15 wheels will fit dude  the lower the offset the more it sticks out which is referred too in the fs section as ET so its up to you how much. obviously if you want to go big dishu you may have to roll the arches.

Thanks,
Thats great. I have had a few replies and its going to be 10 x18 et20 5/114.3 Rota grids. Apparantley they fit without arch rolling !

Do you currently have any in stock ?

Many thanks
Richard

o and one thing ive learnt from buying wheels is make sure of the spigot in the centre isnt to big the nuts are thin enough so they dont scratch and try and get centre caps dude!

Hi, thats great buddy, cheers.
I got the et wrong though, ive been recommended to fit 10th x 18 et 15. Could you tell me what colours you have in both GTR and GRID please.Apologies for getting it wrong first time !
Rich

Grid 18x10 ET15 are in stock, GTR don't come in 18x10, so 18x9.5 ET20 is the closest you'll get (which will be easier to fit), in stock too.

10J ET15 will need a good flare, 9.5 ET12 will need a good roll.

Grid - flat black, hyper black, matt bronze, white
GTR - bronze, white

Hi Kam ,
Thanks. I am just checking as Adam S has said he fitted 18x10 et 15's with 225/40 front and 255/35 back tyres and they were ok without car mods??

I know that 18x9.5 et 20's will fit with 225/40/18 tyres, but would prefer the 10's if theyll fit.

Richard

You could do, this is a 10J ET10 with a 235/35 on a stockish arch (had the lip rolled/flare a tiny bit I think). As you can see its pretty close.

That's with -3 deg camber too, so pulling that straight is going to need a flare.
