where can i get a silvia qs?

dangerous brotherhood
I need a cheap car to run around in over the winter while the s14s of the road and was going to get a 2litre mondeo. However i was thinking y not get a silvia qs, same sort of money to run plus a bit more fun. I know that bloke on the sxoc is selling one but think thats well overpriced, hence the reason hes been trying to sell it for so bloody long. Anyone else know of any knocking about?

Theres hardly any about, because you cant get them here and very few have been imported. If your going to get one, may as well make it a K's. No-ones going to have heard of it for insuring it either so probably little difference between K's and Q's.

yeh, only problem is that if i got a ks then i would be tempted to modify it and also mpg would be worse. Will have to see if anything comes up. I really dont wanna be driving around in a mondeo for the next 8 months.

just keep offering that sxoc guy £500, maybe eventually the penny will drop that its hardly worth anything. £500 is still overpriced at the end of the day!

Don't forget its MOT is nearly up and has a water leak and exaust gasket problem :)

I was interested in it, but decided im going to wait a lil longer to get an s14 (instead of the s13's i been looking at).

The SR20DET block is nice :p

oh yeah, I forgot about those. maybe I should revise my offer to £300? and I'd still be a mug! ahaha

not been funny but the shell fo that car is worth £500 easily,

infact look at all the people selling silvia front ends for £500

if the car had a CA,or SR turboengine it'd fetch a good £2500-£3000

but it is hard to justify £1300 when u can pick up a sweet S13 for that

don't mean to offend anyone who may have payed those kind of figures, but you're stupid if you do!

its NA, so needs some kind of engine swap straight away, it has no 'desirable' parts on it and the wheels alone must knock ££££'s off the asking price :p

I just feel sorry for the people who believe what he says about 'its rare, so must be valuable':(

and its bloody miles away, could you get an further north than that?
I think thats another reason why it hasnt been sold.

Yeah, its a combination of distance and whats around atm.

Reason the 86's were popular in japan was due to their cheapness and RWD setup.

In the UK, I personally see the S13 being the most viable way into drifting now.

Although that Silvia is nice and I would say worth around 800 with its problems - combination of distance and other items in the market (said s13's :)) make it less desirable.
