hey i'm stuck with my old ps2 and my steering wheel until i get a car so i'm wondering which is the best drift game for a ps2 it would be awesome if there were any games with cockpit view and close real life drift pshysics it would be awesome if someone had any idea!! :D

gran turismo 3? i got gran turismo 4 and its not very easy to drift u have to use economy tyres and quite a lot of horses then the drift is hard to control

Tokyo Extreme Racer Drift 1 or 2 is awesome for ps2 (also called kaido battle?)
Physics are good and not arcadey, loads of cool cars that other games dont have (cefiro, laurel, etc), gymkhana, all the downhill tracks for initial D lovers and loads of customisation and proper tuning that makes loads of difference to the handling.

THE best game is definately Need for Speed Underground 1 and 2

........I find both the Vauxhall Corsa and the Peugeot 206 drifts particularly well

+1 for the NFS games, I forget which ones had the drift events but I think it was the first I ever even heard of drift lol

yep i've always found need for speed 2 the most fun for game drifting, all the others try to be too real which makes them really hard to control which IMO is bollox for a game if you ask me, games are sposed to be fun not frustrating.

Yep, Enthusia here. Best game for drifting ive played really, and generally the game is great, driving feel is wicked.

i love kaido racer 2. Datsun pickup's, ae86's, JZX's, s13's, s14s. basically everycar you'd want! with a good set up it's quite a good drift game. loads of mods for each car aswell so its a good laugh.

James Hudson said a while ago that it was Enthusia that taught him drift. That's got to stand for something right? The fact that every time I see the title my mind automatically reads it as a game for Doctors to practice the ethical killing of patients with is another matter entirely :wack:
