Which one?

I am contemplating buying either a Pontiac GTO, or for anyone not in the USA the Holden Monaro, or buying a Toyota JZX90 that has already been imported into the US. I guess I would like some opinions on either one from anywhere you have both or may have had both at one time. I like the sound and torque of the V8, but have always loved the turbo sound and way they make power. I have a 1995 Ford Mustang GT but its a convertible. The platform would take lots of money when you start making power, roll cage and what have you. I would be using this on the street playing around. Maybe some track time but not much. I would like to get into the drift scene or lack there of here in Kansas. Please give some input as to which is a better platform and why. Thank you.

More off the shelf suspension items available for the 90, but more performance items for the GTO.

What's your background? Have you worked on either driveline before? Any kind of motorsport / automotive experience? That is a big deciding factor as well

If i was in your position and those two vehicles were the top of the shopping list i'd go GTO just for sheer amount of parts availability. If you're going to get any kind of drift-suitable suspension items for the GTO it'll be out of Aussie
