hey guys was looking to do some internet shopping to buy a walbro fuel pump and hopefully it solves my running lean on boost issues and poor emissions

i have a 180sx but dont know if its the S13 or S14 pump i require, can you help me out? :dw:

we just had the same problem at steve saddlers last night, it was running dangerously lean on boost, we changed our fuel pump to a bosh which is probaly better than walboro, but it was stil running lean, we got it back to garage D and found out that it was only gettin 6 volts on the negative it was only runnig half the power! check the wires on the top of the pump to see watt volt its gettin, hope this helps.

thanks man ill try and get my hands on a multi meter.

The pumps are the same the fittings are what change, so for S13 you want an S13 pump regardless of engine, likewise for S14. :)

thanks ben,

can anyone tell me where im suppose to be checking the points on the fuel pump? ive only ever has a look at my old S13 fuel pump assembly but i didnt look to closely as i was replacing the whole thing out a donor car.
