White J-reg FC3S

have been thinking about this for a long time, and it seems it has to go sooner rather then later, so heres the specs as follows:

White UK Spec 91 J-reg RX7 TurboII,
146k miles on the clock, approximatly 55k(mainly motorway miles) on the engine, which is a j-spec series4 motor (lower compression, ability to run higher boost with standard internals),

the standard equipment, cruise control, sunroof, electrics all over, ABS,

Cat-Back exhaust (unknown make, cannot see on the badge),
Induction kit (Blitz style),
Blitz BOV and Turbo timer,
Greddy e-01 boost controller,
Momo Race steering wheel,
Pivot boost guage,
Bride Zeta bucket seat (relaid so emblem is not there anymore),
Grooved front discs fitted a few thousand miles ago (exact cant remember),
FD front brake calipers (not fitted) fitted with black diamond pads and with new shims and pins, rear partly used black diamond pads not fitted,
Mazdaspeed MS01 sprayed in Ford Graphite Grey, alloys 17x8f 17x9r, 215/45/17 yokohama parada specII tyres nearly new, and 245/40/17 continental contact sport on legal limit,
4xstandard alloys with 205/55/16 Michelin Pilot Primacy tyre, good tread on all 4 left,
Spare blown motor, disassembled, all parts available apart from turbo and turbo manifold,
Clifford concept 600 alarm with fitting certificate,
HKS Intercooler 600x301x65mm, leaking slightly, but can be repaired (not fitted),

Bad bits: has a dent in passenger front wing (wing supplied with sale), dent in passenger door (not major), paint chipping and a few scratches around the whole car, but this is 15 years old now on the original paint, it idles a rough, but i am guessing it is the repositioning of the throttle position sensor and possibly a vacuum leak from the 15 year old pipes that have gone brittle,

but this is only at idle, it pulls like a train once it gets going, have had it run up to 0.8bar, but i run it at the moment at a very conseravtive 0.3 with scramble boost set to 0.6

looking for reasonable offers, i have seen some with less parts go for 1500-1900, on the mazdarotaryclub forum, so please give sensible offers,

engine has not been rebuilt, but as i have said, it has approximately 55k (mainly motorway) miles on it, and FC engines last longer then FD ones,

yep dude..seen you and the car a few times. didnt realise you were on here.

im in assembly the same as you but work at biw.

i can voutch for this car, its in a good condition.

nooo man...its far to sweet.

although if you do may i have dibs on the wheels?? think there 5x114 arent they??(same as my nissan)

yeah red shift too dude..ill come say hi next time i see you.

come on guys, this car is very clean for its age and would be a nice car for someone to learn and progress in

yea, do come and make yourself know next time you see me,

well if i break the car and sell seperately, i can possibly get in the regions of £3000+. but i dont think anyone would offer me something like that for the lot,

yes i wil put you down for the wheels, and you are the first for them, yes that are 5x114.3, not too sure about the offsets, but i think you would be safe on that one, always welcome to come try them on seeing as you are so close to me,

yeah deffo...just look out for short fat guy wearing biw green with scruffy hair. ill shout you out next time.

i suppose more money to be made by breaking it, what you buying instead??something japanese??

cool ill deffo have the wheels if i got cash at the time bud, how much you looking for them if you sell them??
hope you can get a good price, nice car

lol, yes, give me a shout, but i would probably think who the hell haha,

nothing japanese, but you will find out, ;) probably wont be able to recognise me as easily anymore though once i get this new thing,

the wheels are 2 piece splits made by Rays Engineering for Mazdaspeed, the centre caps say Rays, although you cant really see it anymore, but i am looking for approximately £450,
yep, there is more money in breaking it, but i do also have a few people interested in buying it as a whole, but will not give me a price until i get a compression test done,

information for possible buyers for the car as a whole, compression test will be done at carl haywayds rotary specialist later on today, will post results later,

Cheers
Patrick

compression test results, FR: 6.5, 6.4, 6.7, RR: 6.5, 6.4, 6.7, @ 270rpm
carl hayward, and matt at haywards rotary in Newbury, both says that these are fair figures, and being a series 4 motor rather then 5, it should be able to last longer too,

so are there any takers for the lot now then? or even the car as standard?

Patrick,

can you please pm me price ideas as interested at right price.
cant find for sale section on mazdarotaryclub, do i need to sign on?
