Got to say, whatever anyone thinks of SXOC the random attacks by SXOC folk ON ANOTHER FORUM do the club no good whatsoever. Are the members aware that the club is getting a reputation for being a bunch of cvnts? Unfortunately, I am. So please shut it and let the man try to sell his car.

Any potential buyer will see any faults when viewing the car.

Stav, they are prestige sports cars, its just yours isnt.:p;):D

as i said, i have been TOTALLY honest in pms to peeps about the car, and as NONE of them other tossers have seen actually seen it - its nice to know they can pass such accurate comments...

also, i posted up links to my my topics on a nother website i use, and all of them had the same opinion of the SXOC im afraid.

just the usual band wagon jumpers and keyboard warriors that spoils it for everone else.

He hasn't really been unlucky with it - just about all of his posts on SXOC suggested that he'd pretty much abused the poor thing to death. Although a quick read of these from any potential buyers would highlight this :)

May i just say you sound like a royal cockhead. Were you in anyway negatively affected by this person selling their car? If yes, fair enough but that stupid post above is not the way to go about sorting it out. If no, wtf are you doing? christ read the bottom, it was a piss-take due to the pisshead attitude he displayed on the sxoc and towards it on there and here; i do have a royal cockhead and your welcome to suck it anytime... but in the meantime i do wish him good luck in the sale, but hed have much better luck in ebay than insulting people then trying to sell it on here or sxoc!

The bearings (which arent bearings at all, they are shells) that dont need running in I presume are the big ends that have just been replaced. If so since when dont they need running in? Sorry I just noticed that part, I am now standing back and gonna keep watching this as its quite amuzing :thumbs:

it's an old argument which doesn't carry much weight. Basically, some say that because the bearings aren't actually supposed to contact the crank anyways, because they run on a layer of oil, then what are you running them in to?

However, if that's the case and they never touch the crank - how do they get worn in the first place to the extent you have to change em? :D
 
why do some engines last 250k and other 30k....

anyway i cant be fucked anymore, i might just pop along to an sxoc meet and see how many extreamly rare and highly specialist sx's i can take out with my drifting skills

(note that i cant drift for shit lol....)

Does the car drive ok?
How are the brakes/suspension/steering etc??
Interior, any marks, burns, rips, stains, smells??
Apart from bootlid, any other areas badly affected by rust/rot?? Chassis Rails/Sills etc?
Is there any way you could get some more pictures?

Sorry for all the questions, but I cant be arsed with wading through all of the old threads on SXOC.

Maybe coz they arent run in properly? I currently have an S13 that had new shells fitted last week out side my house that hasnt yet been fully run in. I thought everyone knew you have to run in new shells............maybe being a mechanic I have got it wrong all these years ;)

yes mate the car drives ok, ive been using it for work since nov, but i have a company car ofen so dont drive it every day
i think the bushes on the front arms need replaceing, it creaks a bit, suspension is fine, although std, i have a pair of rear std shocks spare too, brake are all good, pads have a fair bit on them, steering is ok too, it goes round corners etc.

although there are no burns, rips, etc the interior is a bit grubby, it smells a bit damp as the top of the winscreen has rusted a bit so the roof lining gets damp when it pisses down.

boot lid is fucked, unles your pretty at bodywork, the drivers side sill has come away bit at the join, other than that i dont know of any more rust other than the boot lid and the roof by the top of the windscreen.

im working away tomoz until thursday, so wont have any pics until next weekend in afraid.

no probs with the questions mate, any more just ask.

basically the shell aint that great, but wont take much at all to make good

but the running gear etc is all ok.
