Runs and drive superb. Nothing mechanically wrong with the car at all. Only issues are minor cosmetic issues. I'll be as honest as possible to avoid dissapointment.
Points to keep in mind:
1) Boot had a gay spoiler fitted which I recently threw in the bin. As such it has bolt holes now, and has a bit of a dink in it. I would advice just replacing it from the scrappy. Pretty cheap to replace. Haven't found one in the right colour yet, hence I haven't replaced it. Can supply you with a white one if you want!*
2) Front N/S door has a rust bubble dead centre in the door. Weird place to get one, don't know why. Also a little bit on the lower section of the door. Again I was going to replace this. But if you want to drift her...Just repairing it would be easy enough. Matt black anyone?
3) Drivers side electric window doesn't work. After investigation it seems the last owner tried to repair it and majorly fu**ed it up. The bracket that is bolted to the door just under the door handle is mullered. This means that when you operate the window, the Motor itself moves, but the runners dont. Needs either repairing or just bung a new motor mechanism on it. 10 quid from scrappy job.
4) Interior is filthy. Was owned by a farmer before me and I think he kept cows and sheep inside.
I've cleaned it up as well as I could, but ideally could do with steam cleaning or if you're going to strip it out. Who cares! It's perfectly liveable, I'm just fussy! Steering wheel tidy. Gear knob bit ratty. Stereo working. Heaters working, etc.
5) Usual bubbling on some of the arches, but nothing serious. Typical of the age. Underneath is nice and tidy.
6) Front fog lights are odd. One is factory BMW, one is a clear type fog.
That's it really. Tried to put everything I can think of. If you have any questions please feel free. Just needs the diff welding, JOM coilovers and some cool wheels and she'll be a fun drift car.
