With a drift car trying to go fast on a tarmac rally

My best time was 5:20 , the slowest lancer evo was 20 seconds ahead of me,while the best stage time was 4,36. I am pretty satisfied with the result, as I had 0 experience. Yes the gear ratio was a big pain... The other big problem was my Kaaz 2way LSD which is great for drifting but not really lucky for a rally stage. The car always wanted to go into oversteer. But in summary it was a really good experience, and we really enjoyed it!

Well there's something you don't see every day! Good effort.

On the theme of driftcars doing inappropriate things did anyone see that Drift Missile Deathrace video uploaded on Noriyaro's Youtube? It's simultaeously the most hilarious and least entertaining race I remember seeing for a long time.

I can't say I've ever seen a car setup for understeer, seems to work well for everyone else, rallying in particular.
Fun is the important bit :)

Here's what you do with a drift car when racing t/a cars. The name will be familiar to many as he may be related to a certain James Deane. This was a few years back but worth the watch :)

Woah hold on, a 200SX used for hill climb & rally? :wack:

Loads of Hillclimb 200SXs in Europe.

Been a few rally cars too...

and so on...

Yeah, and even more hill climb skylines. But I have to mention very few of them are actually race cars or purpose built rally cars. Hillclimbs and a lot of amateur rally races here let any car compete with minimal safety equipment (fire extuingisher, helmet and you are good to go), so most of these cars go to that kind of events
