I have had this car for a few years with plans for a big VIP project. I've started on a few bits but it might be time to let it go for the time being and thinking about going back to VIP cars when I'm a little older...
so here is a 1993 Y32 Nissan Gloria Gran Turismo, 3l VG30DE engine with automatic transmission. Engine has been recently checked over by Julian at garage D who changed the intake cam and cam position sensor for new items i got from Japan. The timing belt was changed at the same time. The transmission has just had a full reconditiong from Suffolk Automatic Transmissions and works faultlessly.
The car has 200,000 KMs on it The bodywork is not by no means mint. It would need a respray if someone wanted to turn it into a proper clean VIP car. If somone fancied doing a crazy engine conversion for some barge drifting, it might not be too bad however.
Car will come with the 19" wheels shown in pictures below. The car has been lowered on insurance springs since these pictures where taken and so the wheels fit nicely in the arches now. Everybody makes a point of mentiooning the dash table when they see the car and so I thought I would include a few pictures of it here. There is no MOT on it at the moment but I can put it through one depending on the agreement I come to with the buyer.
The hardest part was setting a price as there isn't really a market for for these in the UK so there isn't a "going" price. So I checked on Japaneseusedcars.com and found that most card of this type sell for around 300k-400k in Japan. I took the cheapest one and work it out a the current exchange rate which gave a figure of £2000 FOB. So if you were to import one you would be looking at this price plus shipping and duty, VAT and registration.
As a result, I will initial put my car up for £2000 with all offers considered as I don't really know where to price it.
Price Drop £1500 all offers considered
