Anyone know of one of these that might be for sale? Or if currently not for sale maybe an owner who would consider listening to an offer? I know its a longshot as these cars are getting rarer by the day I have always wanted one.

Mine, love it. Will be at japfest. Wouldn't sell, even if offer started with a 3.

Leo's is also really nice, different direction to mine.

Madda yours is super clean man .

Mine has gone a different route. With a L28 turbo running haltech .

Caprizi the main you have to do is buy one . Just make sure its not to far . Even buy a LHD if need be .

I know of a 260z 2+2. Rolling that needs a FULL restoration. Comes with an engine. It's more or less all there. Think the bloke wants about £2600 for it.

Cheers for the feedback lads. I was really hoping for a 240. The 260s and 280s just don't have the same appeal for me, you just can't beat the lines on a 240. I am talking to a guy in the states about one but the transport is turning out to be a bit of a pain. I also am looking up the auction sites in Japan but the prices for the level of completeness that I want are way higher then I was expecting. I was hoping for one in UK or IRL that maybe just needed a little TLC and wouldnt force me to finance my arse out!

Thats a beautiful looking example Madda, is there any enthusiast communities in the UK you know of where there might be some owners willing to sell ?

Nope, none where you'll have one for sale, if they are they know what they are worth so are always put up for sale where they'll get visibility. Ebay, Pistonheads and Carandclassic.

Alright cheers, the hunt goes on so. At this rate I'm half thinking of flying to japan and finding some little old man driving one and just throwing some cash at him !!!! :P

To be honest the best place would be USA . I've seen some dogs in Japan going for almost 8-10k plus the usual stuff . Keep away from the 260s x2

I would look to the USA as well. I've got a '74 260 which I'm about to get underway with, requires full restoration. Never considered an early 260? Very very similar to the 240, early ones are practically the same and a little cheaper.

I have seen some lovely 260s but i love the 240! Its the dream, but if it doesn't come together I will consider other options. Over the past few days Ive made a few good contacts on some classic car sites so I've managed to source one in Europe which I will hopefully view in the nest week or two. Il let yous know how it goes.

My 280zx Although it isn't for sale, just a better thread with pics.

Some available for import from Netherlands. There was a white one on a classic car website based in UK. Rare to find them not a complete rust bucket.

What a 260z, 2 seater badly!

There is one in a well known auction at the minute. It will auction Thursday 28th of May. I can maybe assist if somebody wants to buy it. It has got 91k miles CAT D.

I have a UK 240z, currently in not so good condition, but wouldnt dream of parting with it. Being restored from ground up :D
