your experiences with RHD japan good or bad ?

Great, can find/get you stuff nobody else seems to, and quickly too, not cheap but nothing is from Japan.

Wankers, do not deal with.

Ordered £2k worth of stuff that they showed to be in stock on there website, then it turned out it wasn't in stock waited 2 and bit months for a £1200 OS Giken clutch to come into stock, then sent out a unsprung clutch instead of a sprung that i ordered... was useless and they wouldn't refund or do anything about it.

Used a few other places and if they don't have it in stock they either will refund you or tell you strait away and give you the option.

I'm sorry but don't deal with them as they don't give a shit.

clarkey.

i found rhdjapan very good anytime iv ordered parts delivery is quick service is good an iv ordered alot off them over the last 2yrs

RHD Japan are excellent and have gone out of thier way to help me. Like Clarkey, i ordered parts they did not have in stock, although they did offer a full re-fund and check on a lot of other things for me... ended up getting some rare and unusual parts instead, no extra charge for the hassle either. Im not sure what happened with you clarkey?

I dont think people realise how difficult it is to get parts in Japan, even if you speak japanese! The services are generally slow and painful... yet somehow, RHD manage to gets peoples butts in gear! They even organised parts that were not on thier listings :)

ive had no bad runnings with them, and ive ordered a fair few parts off there. as said you will pay more for some items, but ive found they tend to do parts that quite a few companies over here cant

Indeed. I got a set of East Bear headlamps for my car that wasnt listed, despite, according to about 500 threads on various RX7 forums, them not being available for about a decade :wack:
Was here within a few days too! :worthy:

There awesome, nuff said.

I got a set of 4 nismo 740cc injectors for £200 cheaper than anywhere over here and that was including shipping.

Got an e-mail on monday morning saying they had been despatched and they were at my house my 09.00 thursday morning.

Never has any problems. When i ordered some electrical bits they wrapped it up in happy birthday paper and sent as "gift" so tax man can cry.

email barry at- enquiries@tougedistribution.com

very good service. tell him sam sent you.

quoted for fuckin truth! :worthy:

ordered stuff.. paid.. 3 weeks later it arrived :smokin:

ive got more stuff on order in a container coming over.. ive had phots of the kit arriving for sorting in japan and step by step explaination of all costs.

If its not on their site, use live chat or email and you'll get a response almost instantly. Thats what i did with all my supernow gear, now they stock it too.

Fantastic company to deal with. Bought all my RX7 fuel system from them as well as some other bits and pieces. Easiest website to use and excellent communication.

I might be slightly biassed :) but I get a whole heap of stuff sent from them, its almost always here in a few days & they've managed to find some truly rare unobtanium stuff that was previously not available! They have lots of inside contacts with many of the JDM suppliers & can find stuff that went out production 10 years ago or even get stuff made specially.

I gather Russell & patrick are both proper petrolheads who like finding the oddball rare stuff just for some fun.

Today an OS GIken Twin plate arrived & a steering boss that were sent 3 days ago.

Totally agree I've used them 3 times now and they just come up trumps everytime with parts that no one else can get! Like mitto says I don't think people outside of japan realise how hard it is to get some stuff there!
