Thanks guys I kinda forgot about the owners club, I will put it up there today. Dunno where else to advertise it (I already have it on 4 or 5 sites). my insurance is up next week and there is no point in renewing it and I dont want it sat outside my house.

I thought it was a good price, but not even an offer or a viewing. :(

i could sell this ten times over at this price down here, if only you wernt so far away.
my youngest brother has 4 of these all in different states of tune. stupid quick on its natural teritory i.e twisty bumpy back roads even in the wet. your selling far to cheap easy get 3000 for it advertise it on a 106 owners club will sell quick and at a better price
 
There is only 1 other gti for sale around in the south I know of, and he wants €4k. After re registering mine and tax for a year it would only be €3k. :( I had it advertised it for €3750 (a bit optomistic but what it stood me) and was offered 3k. Brought it down to 3200 and got offered 2800. Agreed and then he said he couldnt buy it till he sold his own car. then he rings me the week after and says he will take it for 2400! So I told him to FO on principal. I then got offered 2k but he bought somthing else. None of these people actually came to look at the car. €2k is the lowest ill go, its not the cleanest GTI in the universe but a damn sight better than the 3 others I looked at before buying this.
