looks great, and love the spoiler. cant believe how strict the registration test is. i presume when you have a car passed you can lower it back down again without any hassel from the cops?
it is the oppisite problem here- it is too cold to work on cars outside!

@ Hansen - Jump onto nissansilvia.com, that's probably going to be your best bet for over on the East Coast if you're looking for stuff like shells etc. Unfortunately cars in Aus hold their value for a lot longer than cars in the UK (or so it seems) so you'll have to look for a little while to see what you can find.

@alanford - Exact opposite, the reason this car had to be like this was because it got a yellow sticker (the sticker you can see in the top right of the windsheidl). If a cop can find 3 things wrong with your car (and this is super subjective, I once got one because my seatbelts might be frayed, battery wasn't using stock clamp and having a didlo shift knob, on my 2000 R34) then you have to go to the pits where they check the car over, and if anything else is wrong they add it to the list, so you have to keep going back until it's all perfect again, then off you go, and the next day if a cop looks at you and doesn't like the way you look back you can get another one and start all over again =P

____________

I know it needs more slammage too, when I put the rims on I wasn't sure how far it was going to go down so I wound the coilovers down to a surprise height and put it on the ground, unfortunately it was way too high haha. Rears can fit half of one finger between rim and guard but fronts are terrible.

How many yellow stickers are you allowed then and can you drive it while you have one?? I thought it was bad here but that just seems to take the p**s

You can get as many as get given, basically once you've got one, the cop giving it gives you a time limit (1 day to 28 days depending on how they feel) to get it inspected, each time you get inspected and fail they extend it by howeverlong they feel like, if you don't get it extended before the end of the period you've been given you're not allowed to drive it on the road.

I know of people who've got one off, driven down the road and got pulled over a few hours later and given another.

Haha what sucks?

I'm moving probably in October-ish now, I'm coming across because my girlfriends going to be working on shows in London/West End so I get to travel around following her =P

nice build josh! where abouts in perth you live? ive just got back lived in mosman park i use to go up to barbagello to watch the drifting

hopefully get back over there soon! love WA!

Dianella =] Was from Bunbury though so drifts in Collie were nice and close by =]

What do you think of the UK VS Perth?

Hey, Me and my girlfriend are applying to live in WA, my mum lives in baldivis so will probably be moving around there, sounds like it's pretty impossible to have a modified car on the road there though!! Kind of puts me off if you can't even lower your car by a decent amount! Is there much of a drift scene around that area?

Yeah man it's all alive and well, we all just put up with it =P If you're looking at finding anything out jump onto driftwa.com for drift stuff (although ignore the bickering that goes on on there haha) and silviawa.com if you're into Silvias, I'm one of the commitee members on SilWA.

Haha yeah that video looks pretty win. So bad news and good news, replaced the alternator after it decided to give up the ghost, and then the engine decided to start telling knock knock jokes. Suspected big end, fuck my life.

I have since sourced a new engine though, which has 80k km on it so that will hopefully be going in over the next few weeks and I'll be back to full strength. Would prefer to sell it and get an S14 though, miss my old one so I figure I might start looking now and that way if one comes up I can grab it.
