got the air fuel gauge sender hooked up and the decat heat wrapped
also fitted dw c locking collars which were suprisingly easy
and when the tyres got changed the rim was cracked due to a bit to much confidence entering a corner sideways which resulted in me goin backwards up a curb and into a bush, rim was still straight and balanced out great so cant complain
and one late night i got a lil bored, but instead of watchin tv or messing around on the xbox like normal, i got a body warmer on at 11pm with the temp at around freezing, got 2 head torches out and did this on the driveway
old vs new
new setup in, needs gaskets and oil + water lines buying or making tho so its all just a mock up to make sure all was good, got it all in by 2am due to lack of being able to see what the fuck i was doing, but admittedly not in properly
pic from the next day with light
and i think ill need the turbo boost side pipe cutting and welding with a decent 90+ degree bend to clear some stuff, if not the it will be moved somewhere :S
only other problems will be moving some of the electronic crap to do with the vacumn n boost lines as they used to mount right where the turbo now sits, but shouldnt be too hard, and the powersteering bottle may need relocating but i'll do that when i sort the powersteering cooler out, and solid motor mounts
before any1 brings up the fact that i have no injectors, cams, ecu etc to support the fact ive put a turbo that may be a lil to big in the car i allready realise this and have been told a whole list of things i need to do, which will be done
planning on a apexi power fc d-jetro
1000cc injectors
putting the greddy rail on that came with the manifold
decent boost controller
hks cams and springs
solid motor mounts
dw rocker arm stoppers
oil cooler
and a sandwich plate with points to mount the oil pressure and temp senders
and putting all of the bits and bobs i have lying around on
