1998 EK civic £400 - Really needs to go this time

Yes, my civic is up for sale on here again! this was up on here previously and had a lot of interest, i cannot apologise More to the people who enquired about it but at the time i was seriously busy and had some pretty serious issues to deal with and address. So now this car is up for sale again, since the first advert i have invested a bit more money into it and is advertised else where for more, a fair bit more, but i am offering it to you for the same price as before, £400

i will update this new thread with all of the relevant info.

I have owned this car since June and it has done me well, very well, the car mechanical is totally faultless and i cannot seem to find any problems with it and made me a perfect daily. The car has been garaged since October when the tax ran out, i never rushed to re-tax it as i had another car which i used. I seriously considered using this civic as a small project and because of this i replaced a few things on the car which are as follows.

The Dent in the drivers door from the original advert has been repaired, the cracked front bumper has been replaced with a smooth type R bumper, Type R lights and a type R grill.

As for further info the car has done 110k and has been garaged since ownership, i do not have the V5 but do have the new owners slip somewhere along with a collection of previous MOT's

As with every car there are faults, this cars faults are with its presentation, It has a odd front bumper but i have the paint to supply with this, there are many scratches and a selection of dents on the drivers rear quarter along with a small one in the N/S door. There are also some interior trim missing which i can replace for price of parts from the local scrappers.

Now i am after £400, i will not take any offers as i have spend a few quid on it recently

so how many months have you been promising to sell this to me, and how many months have i been asking for your phone number so i can make arrangements to come take it away? Seriously is there a vital piece to this mystery I am missing?

first off thats NOT a type r grill. its the SiR. anyway bullshit asside what model is it?? EJ9 1.4? EK3 1.5 etc??

i'm interested in the car. i know honda's will last forever so mialage doesnt matter to me, as for the different coloured bumper, i dont care really either.

if you could put some more information about the car in the add (such as MOT, model of car etc) then i might be interested in buying it.

i might be intrested if it has MOT and you sort out the log book. might even pay a bit more if its all cosha.
 
Damien - I know you've got 1st dibs on this so you may know what the hell is going on?

Shall i keep looking for a decent little daily???
 
Tomm R hope you dont mind me posting the info you gave me for other potential buyers.

When pm'd the seller told me its a EK3 1.5i ls.

Also told me it comes on standard steel wheels and budget tyres, It has MOT till may but no tax, the little coin tray from the centre console is the missing interior trim.

Also found out the V5 is missing due to the car needing a Vehicle Identity Check at a DVLA office (cost £41). DVLA will not issue a new V5 till this check has been carried out. After the Check has been carried out new buyer will need to apply for a new V5 from the DVLA. (Cost £25)

LOL!!!! dude by all means have a crack at buying this! It looks like a good little vehicle despite needing a vosa, I bought a golf since but would of still bought it if matey came through. I asked for his phone number loads of times but I never got it. ...weird cos i get the same thing from girls :wack:
 
where you based mate?

And would you be ok to le it go staright away or would i have to wait about for you 2 get some new wheels or anything like that?

Also does it have mot etc, wouldnt mind a bit more info :)

not meaning this sound shity but who sells a car they know to be a right off and needs a vic check and dont even tell the bidders in the ebay add???????
 
The same person who promises me repeatedly that I have first dibs on the car for months then never replies to any PM's from me saying "can I have your number, I want to pick it up asap!" without even debating the price. The term knob end comes to mind. If he didnt wanna sell it to me why keep PM'ing me saying the car is as good as mine?
