1jz single turbo dyno graphs needed!!

Yeah I know the theory with the injectors but I was running out of fuel on the side feed 540cc UK supra injectors, plenty of fuel pressure, bosch 044 pump.

Since then I've modified the fuel pickup so it's running a swirl pot, 10mm hose throughout, the 044 externally, bored the stock fuel rail out and 850cc injectors. :D More than happy at 560bhp, still fine when I hit 3 bar by accident when the wastegate hose split. :wack: That was fast....

yeah i think we need to know of the times u are reaching boost by i.e 3.5k on the .8 or 3k on the .6, dyl ur car is guna be so fast lol

niall ur only running 1.2 bar and made that much power, info on where u got ur posh inlet from lol

its a KU Engineering manifold

yeah like bon said id be well surprized if your car is that power, owens rate that turbo to 500hp, and normally you can get about an extra 20hp on top that with garrets at a push

im running the same fueling , so ive loads left 850's inj's,-8 fuel lines throughout, swirlpot, and 044 and lift pump

GT3082 - don't bother, it's a stupid hybrid that strangles the engine in the 0.63 housing and isn't amazingly responsive. More than GT35R but not enough to be worth it. You can get the same power from a GT3076/GT30R with better response.
I thought you had a GT3082? What are you running now?

All of the above will come alive with cams & a posh inlet manifold, mine has HKS 256 and it feels sooooo good compared to no cams.
The standard cams are aimed more for torque at lower revs aren’t they? Does having the 256’s make much difference lower down?

Anybody actually got any dyno graphs to show?

I’m still on the twins at the moment but fancy going for a single sometime soon :)

I had the GT3082R last year with the 0.63 housing, it did work well but generated a lot of exhaust heat and you didn't get anything over the GT3076R really. I suppose the bigger compressor did give lots of torque, and boost was very sharp to come in. I ran it at about 460hp, got about 475 out of it on the dyno but backed it off a little.

I've got a GT35R now (3582R), boost comes in at the same RPM (give or take) as the 3082R, but it makes a hell of a lot more power. Boost is a lot less responsive now, but it's worth it for another 100hp. 560bhp/510lbft torque.

Low down thing is a bit irrelevant, 256 isn't exactly a lairy cam!

I'll dig out the dyno graph sometime.
