2001 Aprilia RS125 de-restricted (full power)

not sure if any of you might of looked on there while there was no pics, ebay for some reason decided to remove them without telling me

have put new pics on there now

I had one of these as well back in 03. Bought it brand new and was never off the thing. Savage little bikes. :)

i had a new one in 2006 and was quicker than my mates gsxr600 on the lanes
truely awsome weapon the ae86 of the bike world

you dont know me or my riding skills so why make a comment like that

lets behonest if your saying that you on your 125 was quicker than your mate on his gixer 600 that must mean your mate was shit.is it just me or does that make sense?

Perfect sense, unless say the 125 was full power and the 600 restricted to 33hp :euge:

A 600 is a porsche eater in the right hands on the right roads  a 125 would get eaten for breakfast :p

Keep telling mike to get a RS125 but he thinks he'll look like a chav  little does he know.

still no bids guess people are either not interested (if so, dunno why as I've seen aprilia's exactly the same but without as many extras get bidded upto over 900 in the last couple of weeks) or are planning to snipe it at the end

had someone email last night asking if I was interested in swapping for a 1998 gsxr600 srad, emailed him back saying yes and gave my phone number but not heard anything, guessing it must of been someone who was bored enough to mess me about, possibly someone off here as I only mentioned on this thread that I was considering one of them :(

Actually mate, an RS125 will slay a GSXR1000 on twisties, let alone a 600. However, as soon as you see a straight its bye bye RS125. The RS125 was voted the best handling road bike ever after a Buell1100 (by bike magazine i think it was) with some crazy ass suspension setup. It is known for its amazing handling and weight distribution. Trust me, i know, ive had 2 and also had an RS250 track bike. The 125 might only be 33bhp, but it still does 60 in 6 seconds, 100mph+, and revs up to 15k as long as you look after it properly...and i was able to pick the back of mine up off the floor with one arm. Its all about power to weight.

Put it this way, what handles better, a lotus exige or a bugatti veyron? its the same concept. People with "big bikes" never want to admit but its true. Friend of mine had a fireblade and could never keep up with me on the backroads to my house. Its the reason ive had 3! If you dont believe me, do a google search.

:dw:

What people seem to forget is that bikes don't ride themselves haha. There's alot of shite shite riders around, not many people on the roads will be able to push a gixxer600 to its full capabilities.

speak for yourself topi lad and for example put rossi on both bikes round the twistys and id bet my cock on it he could lay down better times on the 600 but then again i know fuckall about bikes

you got a fucking big mouth for someone who dont know me or my riding, Not saying im rossi but i have grown up around bike racing at a very good level .
and just to fuck you off when i dabbled with lambrettas stuart day was quicker on his group 6 special around cadwell park than any of the big bikes including gsxr1000 / R1 etc etc

i have got a big fucking mouth and the actions to back the fucker im not some geek keyboard warrior like you may think i was giving my opinion and you cant hack someone with a different opinion it seems as you jumped straight in with the attitude

where did i once say you was shit or a shit rider?

my argument is a good rider could deal with a bigger biked shitter rider fact.put a pro on either bike and im sure they could do faster laps on the 600
and this upsets you so it seems ?

but are they available for what I will get from selling the aprilia? cos thats all the money I will have for my next bike :(

would be pushing it mate srads arent that bad and can be had cheap its mainly the rear end that lets them down but thats down to personal taste i suppose ive seen srad with the later back end and they look good:smokin:
