the back end on the k series is more pointy the srad rear looks like youve got a spare helmet on the back under the seat cover lol

what you were doing is making an asumption that the only way the rs125 was quicker was the fact that the guy riding the gsxr600 was crap ,
with no evidence of this. A light great handling bike will always out ride a bigger heavier machine regardless of power or rider same rider both bikes. 125 would win and i don't mean ride off into the distance by miles, but i must say the BIG bike boys were fucking pissed when a guy on a scooter that was 40 years old showed them the way round cadwell .

guy that offered the gsxr got back to me by phone 10mins before it finished and I got some pics off him n I like the gsxr so got him to hit buy it now and gonna swap :D

well happy can't stop grinning now :D

will post some pics up when I get it :thumbs:
 
j is compleatly right i have had a rs125 and other big bikes and the rs will do anything on windy roads with the right rider.

why do you think people always say r6's are the shit for a track day weapons? because there lighter than r1's and handle better and take corners faster.

i have never been on one but a fraind had a rs250 and thay will do a 600 in a straight as well as the corners;)
 
i had a TZR250 reverse cylinder with stan stevens 300cc kit 38mm flat slide carbs and pete gibson race pipes with a TZ ypvs box 80bhp at the rear wheel and 2/3rds the weight of a r6 or gsxr600 and was just amazing to ride .

ok i must be wrong amazes me why they bother to build anything else as the rs125 is the dogs bollox and kills anything on the bends :smash::wave:

i did not say rs125s were the best, or that all other bikes are shit in comparison
i mearly stated that on a twist road these bikes are a match for bikes many times bigger than it .

Cossiecrew, trust me, im right here lol. Youve already said you dont know about bikes, and i do, ive been riding since i was 13 and im right. I just am. Its simple. Haha. An RS125 with Rossi riding will be faster round the twisties (as long as there is no straights) than an R6, or R1, or Gixxer, or Hayabusa. It doesnt matter. Rossi started out riding RS125's, in fact he wont the moto gp 125 title on one something like 5 times if i remember correctly.

Surely by the same standard, we would all be driving around in ariel atoms or caterhams or something. Oh yeah, and also, Theres the RS250 (which i had for a bit). Same bike, same chassis etc bit with a 250cc engine and 65bhp. THAT is a fucking weapon on the track as it has the straight line speed too.

I challenge anyone on here to put me on an RS250 on a twisty track/road and beat me on any bike on the planet. You can turn up on a 998 and i will still slay you...hard. lol.

Also, each to their own i suppose, i quite like the look of SRAD gixxers! although the K series does obviously look better.
