God idea???

I'm usually against engine swaps (except in a few cars), but there are a few I love, Mati's R32 SR20 just happens to be 1 of them! And this sounds equally awesome, but I definately think this thread needs more pictures and videos :D

being an evo fan i defo cant wait till see this finished. you going AMS on the other side of the engine to? maybe a 3076 as you cant get much better than the VSR on the inlet side ;)

I dont think AMS has anything that will fit my application

plan is to use this flange

And build from there to whatever turbo i'm gonna use

Header will be build by my buddy Adam who used to work for AMS so I guess Yes, I will use AMS for the other side :)
 
Dilemma


Do I go with modern technology and use a DBW throttle? or do I go cable throttle?

DBW is better because engine management can open the throttle whenever it needs to. Perfect idle and driveability. When configured correctly is just as good as cable throttle. Cant tell the difference.

I will be making a full harness so at this point the only con is the price of the management

Im a dealer for ViPEC engine management from Australia but even as a dealer these things are not cheap

this is a SR20 unit but can be wired for anything

So the oil filter was almost touching the sway bar so im relocating it

Too bad its a Chinese fake copy. Good one too.

TIP:
Ones made in Germany are FAKE
Ones made in Czech Republic are GOOD

Ive seen a couple of those fake 044 pumps come in on customers cars, they will normally only do around 400 flywheel bhp:(

Guy had a 1 negative feedback and it was for shipping a wrong pupm
ha had a ton of good feedback. Nobody noticed that their pumps were fake.

I called him and he said.
No problem. Ill issue a refund + sh. He said his pumps are direct replacements for Bosh 044
 
Woah,awesome idea,will be much easier to get massive power from the 4G engine. Theres a company in Northern Ireland who are an AMS dealer,and have a road legal Evo 9 making 1050bhp,so the amount of potential is endless :D what sort of power are you aiming for?
