do the fronts have separate ride hight and spring adjustment so that the hight adjustment does not affect the damper travel?

ok, if i change the spring rate on the front will that invalidate the warranty ? my 86 is a daily driver you see and i want to run a 250lb/in (6.2kg/mm) spring up front. if not will get a set ordered up.

Question?

When you drop the car down/axle is the spring holder ment to go all the way up under the body and touch the floor pan of the car. Totally over the top of the original spring locators as mine dont.

Dont you put the adjuster on the bottom? Then adjust the rear shock/damper length to stop the spring becoming un-seated at droop? Ive not fitted CS2's before but i think thats the way, from memory.

I wondered that Paz but the adjustable collars are flat, the spring has a flat end, the perch on the axle has a recess for the spring as the normal struts have.

I've been told that 'other' versions settle after time and go up to the floor but I guess they'll never come off once they settled in.

When you sit the car down on it it will go down over the original locator/bump stop all the way. It looks to me like your car has hit the bump stops fairly hard at some time in it's life so that locator might be slightly deformed making it a tight fit, on the 86 we tested on it was a tight fit but it was possible to take on and off, so not mega, just a 'fit'.

Can any DW staff please tell me what the front internal spring diameter and length is please. Mine are on my car at slide so i cant get access at the min to measure up
