Not sure if its custom but it was the one from the Le Mans car in the early 90's Ive seen a BMW drag car with a 26B turbo so their must be a way of getting them.

But that engine from the pic is a BEAMS engine.
GEN4 3S-GE with VVT-i, only in Japan in some Altezza's.
And in 200 MR-2's.
Very rare engine.

the blacktop 3sge with dual vvti found in Altezza SXE10 (or rs200). Some damaged altezza's have been imported over and you can probably buy the front cut from these breakers........... be surprised how many rs200 there are in japan as they are still produced there.
 
The 26B is a work of art. Any other four rotors (there are a couple) are custom builds. In theory you could do loads of combos seeing as its just like building a sandwhich. Its all the engineering and eccentric shafts etc that would be the headaches!

Much easier to get a 20B than try to make something custom I imagine but in a Corolla you arnt going to need loads of power anyway. Even my lightly tuned engine in the FD would make a Corolla mental :wack:
 
I've got a few movies from a red FD3S with a 4 Rotor engine.
If i read your post well, that one must be custom build too?

The only 'real one' is the Le Mans engine?

It sounds very cool, almost if it's going to leave the earth and going for a nice spin around the world :)
 
Yeah I think I know the video you mean. The 26B was a race engine, theres no road version anyway so pretty much anything out there is going to bu custom and not a Mazda production engine is kidna what I mean.
 
i might have a cheap Sr20 lump if ur intrested, needs reshelling as it's got a grumbly bottom end but it'll be cheap :thumbs:

Ooh ooh..how much? I may have a use for that :nod: PM me if it's still available :thumbs:

As for 86 engine options, I scored an S14 Silvia Q's SR20DE off eBay last year super cheap. I got the engine. box, harness, ECU.etc etc...the whole lot for £80 and it's only done £49k Km's. There are a few import S14 Q's about and the motors are dirt cheap and no 200SX'ers want a n/a SR. They are just under 160hp stock and it shouldn't be hard to get one to 200, plus there's an abundance of tuning parts available. No idea if one would fit in an 86 but it might be worth a look for a low buck option.
