Apparently having blue lights on your car is not classed as impersonating a police officer. You'd have to actually be wearing a uniform to be charged wth it.
Not that I condone driving round with blue strobes in your headlights.

Do these work of the main beam or the dipped ones? I have HID's in my normal ones so don't wanna mess them up.

hi, how do ya turn them on, will the come on every time ya turn on the lights,

either a single on off switch or a on-off-on switch!
you can wire in a inhibitor(all within the unit)which stops them bein switched on when side lights are on etc!
