just dunno about them doors, every man to himself of course and all that jazz, but hmmm... oh, and the graphics are a bit OTT... no offence ment, just my opinion

Non taken

The car has become somewhat a marmite issue TBH though I think it'll look 100% better once the drift kit is on and graphix finished

As you said though, everyman to himself  personal opinion is what make the world go round :D

Yeh, I don't really like the doors, and the graphics. Lambo doors on a drift car is a bit :wack: . But everybody has their own view of an ideal car.

But I must say, the car does look a bit max power-isk. It’s the car I would expect people to build after watching the next fast and furious film. But again, that’s my opinion, and if its u like it, don't mind me.

just a little stiffening to the body needed by way fo extra length bars underneath and a Dpillar bar inside :D Then Drift body kit, custom turbo, bucket seats, dyno setup and a few other specials then she'll be all ready!!

Ready for what?...Drifting, or just noncing about? :p :wack:. if it's the former, then it's already 'ready' it's rear wheel drive so get to a drift day! If it's the latter it doesn't really belong on DW ;)..

Don't the lambo-doors make it fucking hard to get in a bucket seat?? Since they won't clear the whole door-gap if you know what i mean...

Nice car though, nice spec...

Sorry but half that crap is pretty useless to drifting. Talent and practice would take you much further than chrome stickers and doors that open the wrong way.

hah don't think I've ever seen Rachel in overalls! :smash:

good luck with the motor mate, just don't let Rach drive it :wack:

PHIL - I want the car ready to the level I want it hows that an issue? I want the body stiff and to start drifting but its abit wett here at the mo to learn here and there. I'm lookinging into the next day at brandshatc and silverstone but also into drift school as I've heard it mentioned a few time but wanna check its good money spent, any thoughts?

DEBASTAARD - No mate its fine!! The doors lift high enough to clear most of the doorway completely

JORD - thanks for ya post but no offence it was mostly pretty pointless. Which "crap" apart from the doors and graphix are pointless?? engine mods to increase power??can't be that. Fully adaptable/adjustable suspension to allow for better control?? can't be that... I mean the guys in D1 use all those... so you must mean either the standard interior trim or body colour, maybe my small amount of ice???? I like to listen to music and I know it takes practice but I've already accidently flipped one car onto its roof by it sliding out and I have the dent in my skull to prove it, so this timeI want the car tighter before I start.

Crystalmeth - Nah won't let her drive it :smash:

all you need to drift is RWD car with a locking diff and to make life easier perhaps some coilovers and a bucket seat. Power makes you lazy. Subs are just retarded in drift car imo. I love music and i love a nice bassy sound to my music but there no way i'd ever put a supidly big speaker and box in my car to take up more weight.

Well my car isn't soley for drifting, its also a daily drive and will be used on tracks too.

Commuting in her means 1hr everday either way so music is nice  but obviously if I was to go specifically to a drift day even track then the rear seats, panels, ice spare wheel etc etc would be taken out. For everday however I like my luxuries :D

It seems that alot of people seem to make the point that I have too much to drift with?? Is this cos many don't have as much?? No offence meant but come on, I love my car and want to spend money on her wheres the prioblem really
Like I previously stated D1 drivers don't just use coilovers and bucket seats do they  now I'm not saying I'm a D1 driver :wack: but I want to be able to set my car up for exactly whichever event I'm off too and they do actually advise that you have adjustable camber to drift well with as there are specific settings to use to gain better length, smooth ride and control.

Yeh but the D1 Drivers have been drifting for YEARS... you think they started in a car with 400BHP? haha. Please don't compair yourself to them - its just not.

Is a clean looking car, personally I would have gone down a different path with mods, and maybe spent the money else where, but individuality is what makes the world interesting. :)

Thing that sticks in my head is - how easy will the doors be to jump out of in an accident? If the car lands on its roof, you aint gonna get out! lol.

Oh and who says a drift car can't be an every day car.

Would never compare my self to the D1 driver      But you can see my point

Agreed though, cars are all personal taste like everything else really :)

As for the crashing bit :o not looking that direction at the moment!! Still thinking along the lines of keeping the 4 wheels onthe floor :wack:

Oh and the doors open quite far on there on there own anyway so escape wouldn't be hard tbh

You're actually sponsored by HKS, GReddy and Cusco?

Also you haven't mentioned a diff in your spec or your list of things to buy, looks a bit like you want the drift look for posing in your local Tesco carpark to me

Seems a bit silly to spend all that time and money on the car when the last time you attempted to drift you rolled the car... Your time would surely be better spent practicing and save the money for when you're actually any good and not likely to stack the car at the first opportunity

The last time wasn't an attempt at drifting, wasn't supposed to read like that!! It was more I slid round a corner in the wett but not out of choice PMSL
I have had a go since but not to a huge level

im not taking sides in this argument but: your drift bodykit is going to last 5 minutes at a practice day because you will rip it off on cones. and the extra weight of the doors and ice is going to negate the benefits of the suspension and make it very difficult for you to do transitions while still learning. i found that the car is a hell of a lot easier to place on the road when its stripped, so adding weight is only going to make it harder

I say do what you want [abeit i wouldnt do what you are doing]
but suppose Itll make drifting and beating people in drift prepaired cars a little bit better

but it does look like what cars are going to be like when ff3 comes out

True, but atleast that means I'm there before the rest!! by the time its released I'll be bored of the graphix and change them!!

I just had to hammer my fingers into a bloody pulp to stop me typing more.
Im now typing with stumps and it's only the pain that's stopping me airing my true feelings...
