another 'what would you like to see in the Driftworks shop?' thread

Longer wheel studs for 13 and 14. A total pain in the arse finding them for S13s unless you pay £8 a stud or get S14 ones and drill the hub out. Not H&R though, they are shite, the splines arent long enough to locate in the hub properly.

shouldn't be a problem sir :)
Do you by any chance have details of exactly we're looking for? If we have the info, I'm happy to have a good ring around and sort it

IIRC...

M12x1.25, 64+mm long (good for 20mm spacers)

S14 spline: 14.25mm dia
S13 spline: 12.85mm dia

Got to be a bit careful of the length of the spline though. I got some S14 studs off DME and the spline was a little too long for the rear so it poked through the hub face so the disc didnt sit flat. Not a major prob though, just took a drill to the disc and recessed the hole.:) The front hub face must be a bit thicker though as I fitted one the yesterday and it sat flush with the hub face.

:)

COOL about the rear brake pads for AE86.. Im having a huge problem here in Denmark getting anything but stock pads for the rear..
By the way.. Does anyone know about a job as an Aircraft Techincian in your country..? Because im getting sick and tired of living in a country that does NOTHING else than making the life of people who wants to drive interresting cars..........SO HARD! ( import tax=180% of sales value at a Danish dealership!)

Also plastic electrical ducting or sleeving (is there such a word) to hide/protect the electrical cables inside the engine bay and inside the car.

Do you know what I’m talking about? I’m not sure if I do…

just go to any electrical company and ask for some.
they probably wont have the slit version you just slide over cables but who cares.
it´s easy enough to cut it open by its lenght and it´s lots cheaper.
costs about 18eurocent a meter and you can get various sizes... (25mm fits nicely in most cases...)
