Beginners Drift What you Brung day coming soon to the North West (Manchester)

Providing it doesn't clash with buxton/oulton i'm 90% sure i could marshall for this regardless of weather. Got my own reflective gear and stuff to cut costs down, just need flags (if you choose to use them), brushes, fire ex's etc... Usual stuff really.
 
Yeah me, Mitto and Yeager approached them about 8 years ago, tested the track a little, was cool. Venue was too spendy as we couldnt match his average weekend takings with a drift practice day so he didnt wanna know. Boo.
 
Sounds like it has good potentail, i can get to eastlands easily so any helping hands needed just pm me and i'll get across if available
 
Yo, drifting on MCFC carparks sounds awesome. Well up for it :D

I've just spoke to "Monster energy drink" crew from Ashton(been doing there cars). Depending on date they would come to support us and advertise on the day.
Early offer:
- "Monster" truck(BIG Chevy Silverado), stand, girls, some free drinks and stickers(no free girls-before U ask).
After speaking to a mate from Ash Garage Stockport he agreed to bring there 4x4 cars, TEAM RUGRATS is using them in Off-Road championships.
Lowdown, the would be possibly some more stuff I could sort out or help with.
If U need any help don't hesitate to call me(I live quite locally).

3 Sisters got enough going on with the karts, cars, bikes and as i'm aware have no free dates this year. i know the supermoto has to look at next years dates by may/june to get when they want. If John has spoken to them and its a no goer then maybe thats the case. My mate own a tyre firm in wigan and is well in with 3 sisters so if could approach them again.
 
I'm on first name terms with the owners and organisers of their 'Racing School'. If they want to allow drifting they'll ring me. Phoning them to see if they're ready to allow it isn't going to help.
 
Hi there Lowdown just come across your thread and would just like to say that I actually have a large area of land that could be used, obviously would need a load more work etc but shouldnt be a problem with noise etc as its right next to a main motorway. So if you think it could be of any use just gimme a shout.

All the best with this though as I think its a great idea, just what the North needs, Mick.

Lets get this going, I know I'd be more than happy to come along and help get the area ready, like moving earth, stacking tyres... whatever! Im sure some others would too!

Tell us more! Where abouts is this land? Am up for lending a pair of hands at the weekends if not too far...
