Black Limited Super Rare Trueno.............yes it has to go !

Did you get 9 grand for it???

Yes I know it's a nice car, I just wonder if they really fetch that sort of money.

Glen,

Yeah I was gonna come up with Tony, but obviously selling the car takes priority.

Mitch,

I'm not gonna disclose the amount the chap paid, but it werent far off asking price.

Can finally clear lots of my debts, glad i could sell the car to a genuine enthusiast.

Cheers

Si

Hi everyone

I would just like to say I am the new owner and am happy to say you will be seeing alot more of the car in the summer.

Its a very nice car. (few battle scars but it gives it character! :) )

All I need to know is a few questions.

How much arch work needed for 17 chromes and should I worry about fitting neons to such a low car?? :wack:

Only kidding!!

I plan to keep it as it is but me being 6'2 I plan to change the drivers seat to a Bride egro recliner for both driver and passanger, and just tidy up a few little problems, although I wouldnt mind a set ol longchamp xr4's.

So this means that I will soon have a bride bucket seat with rail to fit a ae86 in black soon on collection of the car as I still have to let Si reg it and stuff.

Hope you lot make me welcome and whens the next practice drift day??

Thanks

Adam

Well done simon - and well done tetsujin.

If I had the spare cash lying about I would have had this car  - its a beaut. Look forward to seeing it again sometime in the future.

Shit! I almost believed you on the 17's and was about to anhialate you with type...

Congratulations on buying one of the rarest and complete Trueno's around.

If you're selling anything off it to put on new bits (eg wheels, seat rail etc) drop me a line as I'm obsessed with AE86's and the bits that go on them ;) . Mine is pretty much how I want it now (looks a bit shit/stock but drives just about the best for how I want it), though I should really get a set of pimp wheels for it since my Supra/Weller combination is a little weak :(

Best of luck with the new ownership

Will

Hi mate

My mate liked ur 32

He said I should have bought one of them instead of the 86 and wher telling me all the other cars I could of got instead with the money I spent!!

I keep telling them its not about top speed and all out power.

theres somthing I have always liked with the 86 and its just hard for them to see it.

This is my dream car and I am happy to finally own one.

I will take great care of it and look forward o getting her sideways!!

Will

Yeah, I thought its would cause a stir if I said sumit like that!!

I was gonna just post tht and see what people did but seeing as I am new to this place I thought it mite start me off on the wrong foot!!! :wack:

I will be looking to get rid of the :

Bride bucket seat and rail to fit ae86

Passenger side standard seat

and that 'oil catch can'!

:D

If anyone can help me I am after a few things also.

I need a centre part of the dash where the a/c and heater controls are.
Its a little bashed up

Also could be interested in a set of longchamp xr4 alloys.
Mite px against whats on it.

Also how hard is it to get front wings??

I'm interested in your seat + rail, and your passenger seat if it's black!!

I can get you the a/c plastic surround if that's what you mean?

Your alloys are worth loads mate, it'd be more like part exing some XR4's + money for those beautiful Panasport split rims!

I think Paz on here has a bonnet and wings, brand new Genuine Toyota items. You can get them from Japan but they take a while to arrive. If you need any Jap part numbers, just ask and I'll email them to you... you just give them to a decent Toyota dealer and they can special order the bits from Japan.

Let me know about the seats mate

Cheers

I did meen I would want wheels plus money if swaped for mine!!

Hehehe... there are UK dealers out there that'll do it, though not my local 'ship

It's easier to get the parts from Japan via Brussels than walk down the road to Toyota, eh Rikard? :worthy:

Of course you can get anything apart from AE111 exhaust manifold gaskets, since they don't exist anywhere in the universe, unless you know someone who knows someone who knows someone etc ;)
