Damn you, I was hoping you weren't going to bump this til next week :wack:

All I can say is this car has kept me awake at nights. Interested isn't the word.

I've just changed the cam and belt on my S13 to see if that got the running semi sorted, and it has (ish) so depending how well it copes at TDSW this weekend depends its fate. So by 2pm Saturday, we will know for sure :thumbs:

The reason I haven't come to see it yet, is I have the money in my account, and I know I drove doon to see it, I'd be coming home with it no matter what ;)

Stuff is available, it's the same as the E34 suspension wise.

Sid's 735i has sensibley cut standard springs and handles really well, considering the shocks are stock. And it looks incredible lowered, though I wouldn't go as low at the back... maybe 1.5 coils of the rear and 2 off the front.

And Sid's goes sideways very nicely and looks awesome doing so, as does mine, we really need to live out the twin drifting 735i manual dream... Man I will miss this car :cry:

There was supposed to be someone coming to view it today but he never turned up so she's still yet to be seen.

At £700 with MOT and tax it is a cheap car - the engine/manual box/loom/ECU, electric leather sports seats, Momo steering wheel and BBS alloys/tyres are worth more than £700 alone! I'm sure the first person to see and drive the car will buy her.

I hope she goes to a worthy home... my dream was to paint her black, lower her and get some pipes replacing the centre section. Mmmmm sweet six-pot sounds!

I want the borbets as well.

Fuck sake, I wonder how quickly I could sell the touring? Fancy it with it's 9j borbets on in pex?

TBH I need cash and not another car, but if you send enough cash my way it may be possible? Send me details and pics. Try and sell it though, since I'd have to put yours straight up for sale as I need the cash :(

Just saw a set of 17 x 10J and 8.5J Borbet 'A' flatcaps (same as mine) sell for £550 as well, so £395 extra for the pimpage of rimmage (and tyres) is cheap. The rare flatcaps are sought after big style now... classic pimpness.
 
Be careful what you crash into... buildings, trucks, whatever... the 7 is a tank so will damage them bad.
 
Just keep this one in one peice till the next TDSW Mike. And I can almost gaurantee I'll be in an E36 by then, so fingers crossed the BM's will out number the S13s :D

Well I thought the e28 was a tank but it didnt leave a mark on the building it wrote itself off with:cry:

This car is back up for sale. Same price same spec.

I have now repainted the side that had nasty paint on the rear quarter and the off coloured door and mopped up the rest of the car and I have redone all the chrome in black again so it looks a much much tidier car than before.

The wheels definately aren't for sale as the only reason I am selling the 7 is I have been offered a e36 I want for cheap and I want the rims for it

Hi Mike, yep, logbook hath been senteth.

Shame you are selling - it'll be a really tidy car now you've sorted the cosmetics. Put some pics up, it'll look very sweet now I'm sure!

E36 with the Borbets will be crazy... BIG flare will be required but they will work good!! It's no 7-series though :(

£700 is really cheap, especially as it's now actually tidy!
