Congrats to Ben, Just seen the run, that would have been a placed run in the professional's mate!!!!

At least I proved to myself that my MR2 is capable of drifting the enitre course all linked up, albeit not at the angle of drift that the 200sx's are capable of.

Hmmm, more power and a LSD are REALLY required now.

Pride...you drive a bedford midi coupe mate...pride?! The ultimate in gayness. It's so extreme that it's somehow cool at the same time though, I'll grant you.

£10?! My PS1 was free, about 5 years ago, with loads of games. Free is the way to go mate.


Cheers Rob!! I reckon your drive was bloody impressive mate, best of the day in my eyes just because I know how hard it is to do that. My car has only a bit less power and it's a bitch to drift, but it's FR, not MR! Bo, respec' homie.

Was a cracking day! Really good to meet some of you and see your skills! (Had a spin in the red s15-truely awesome driving) I'm now determined to get good and I'm gonna have a bash at the next one too! :) See if I can understeer every corner. :wack:

i thought it was a good day out indeed :thumbs:

i was really chuffed with the range of cars that we had on the JapUKmeets stand :cool:

mrs kindly bought me a go in Kiki's s15 and while i was impressed with the funky handbrake i was a bit dissapointed :confused: and wished id gone out wiv brett instead :o

proud to see Bob myers do so well it the MR drift slut :wave:

have i got it right that richards "evo" meaden previously had a go in the z33 and was not very good ;) and so has gone to abbey to get an s13 drift special :nod: he seemd quite good does any one know the spec of the car??

did it start the day like that, or was it a modification

i could check my footage and see if it had one at the start.

Is that what you get if you buy official Tein bits from the UK, or do you have to be a jouno/have far to much money as well? :D
 
I was smiling and trying to subtley point at my freshly added Tein sticker in my rear quarter window as they went past on their scooters. No offers of sponsorship though :( :D

LOL, whenever they went by me I shouted at them "GIVE ME A SET OF TEINS" :D

They came over and had a chat with me though, so I did "get noticed" :wack:

I have a set of HRs coming within the next few weeks though, so there! :wack: Not ideal, but should hopefully be better than the setup I have(nt) got at the moment:)
 
Had a very friendly chat with a guy from Toyo. He saw my T1-Rs and came over to chat about them. When he said "Those are my tyres", I was all "yeah very funny they are mine!" to which he said "No, my company, Toyo!" :wack: We chatted a bit about them and how impressed I was with them. No offers of sponsership though... I guess I have to actually place at the opposite side of the table to get that :p
