Drift Trikes UK

Indoor track cart front wheels & tyres, 1" box, pair of axles & BMX....... need to get the plastic tube to cover the cart tyres then (got mine from ebay).
That's what I used ;)

jonofd is on the money right there!

axle width is simple, seat, plus room for feet!
head angle should be slightly laid back, someone in the states put a how too up on a forum ages ago, but i think you have to pay for it now :(

If anyones looking for bits to build one then avoid this
FOR PARTS Huffy Slider 20" Go Kart/Bike/Tricycle/Trike/Drifter | NO SEAT/WHEELS | eBay

Its sold on ebay about 4 or 5 times in the past week or 2. I watched it n it sold for about 36, then got relisted straight away, then for 30 odd and relisted, then sold again, then sold the other day for 56 quid and got relisted again straight after, think its even listed in his feed back once, something strange about it but ebay havent done anything about it

Cheers

There's a fair few if us in Manchester that do it.

There's a hill near us where people have had over 50mph on them. And when there's 6 of you feet apart it's can be awesome, or carnage.

They don't cost much to build at all.

For those who say its boring, try it on a proper hill with some speed and then try again

theres a lot of groups popping up all over.. even over in norfolk.. they dont have hills over there!!

im gunna put that vid upo on our facebook page jono!

yer tippers - try it on a proper hill.. could not have said it better myself!!

I built 1 a while ago and u don't push back up the hills u get a mate to tow back up!! Ussually a shit load faster than u should ever go on 1 of these towed behind a car!

ive seen a few accidents being towed up the hill, had one myself when some proto forks failed!! ooops!

towing is the way back up, but only if you have a willing driver and some rope!

wheres the pics at then???

Quick vid my nephew mashed up the other night from the other side of the dam and his general playing....... prety good for a 20min job! LOL:

Jono

Bunch of nutters. Having raced all forms of bikes in the past I can imagine that it's more fun doing it than watching the vids. Good initiative on the wheel sliders.

the plastic over the wheels are called sleeves, we use go kart wheels for their sealed bearings, but you can use sack barrow wheels, they dont last long but are cheap.

Hi I live in the bucks area near Aylesbury. I was just wondering if anyone lives around here that could help me out making one of these. I have a bmx but the problem is I have no use of a welder. So if anyone knows anyone that could help me source and build a trike it would be much appreciated :)
