You'll be there you big gay. I need someone to operate the camera.:)

Hmm, Im not so sure.... From his previous camera efforts he's no better than Taff! :wack: Still it only took me about 18 months to get any good at it:D

Fingers crossed I dont get any phone calls asing if I know anyone with a rear qtr....

Popped by from 12.30 for an hour or so......... was raining and the oval was pretty wet.

Saw a green Piazza and a sierra going at it for a while, until the piazza stacked it into 'one' of the barriers!

Must say you either got 'mad skillz' or don't give a shit as the curbs on the inside are killers then there's the barriers surrounding the whole perimeter!

Props to finding and organising something a little more down south!

Also wanted to see a sweet kp doing it's stuff but had to go

Ahh, that was you parked up the top! You should have come down and said hello.

I didnt take mine on the track. After Nick doing a bit of remoddeling on the back end, then Will smashing the rear quarter of his his Piazza with me in it, then the front, and then I had a go in Nicks Piazza and stuffed the front end in (soooo sorry mate, Matt_S has offered himself to console you;)) I decided it wasnt worth the risk, I'd done enough damage in one day.

IMO oval drifting is only for the insane (Nick) or for drift shitters (umm, Nick againwell, it is now anyway).

Drift shitters are the way forward.

Two Piazza's with very similar damage is a rare sight in itself.

Posessing "Mad Skillz" in addition to "Not giving a shit" is a lethal yet entertaining combination.

Both cars will be repaired for minimal outlay (from the SXOC Chairman's gimpsuit fund) and be back for more, parts in the shed waiting. Shame there's no twin at Silverstone any more.

In addition;

Mr Carter....

After having sat here and discussed the days preceedings over a pizza and some chicken wings, we have come to the conclusion that these two rare and exotic automobiles (namely Isuzu Piazza's, of which less than 300 remain in Britain) would not have been damaged if it were not for your presence at the Arena.

After placing your larduous arse upon Will's passenger seat, your ballast unbalanced the car and caused it to slide into the Armco.

Then, disatisfied at the destruction you had just caused to a rare Lotus Tuned automobile, you then preceeded at a wholhearted attempt to ruin Nick's mint, 60k earlier example.

I therefore punish you with an indefinate sentance of being the chairman of the SXOC for life.

Judge Judy

that witty prose is the handywork of will

i was laughing all the way home with will in my rear-view
all smashed up ,both the cars were parked outside home when the family came home..... oops

that was funny steve ..DRIFTOVAL.. WTF

Yeah I'll Do It Again, but The Sierra Boys Were Not That Impressed But The Kent Brigade Seem We'll Up For It

There Was A Promoter There From Mildenhall Speedway He Said We Can Use His Shail Oval

I think i might need another drift shitter for this sort of event. I dont think my current one is shitty enough :D

Not surpised you didn't take your S13 after all that damage done! (nice dori chariot btw!)

I would have come down but where I was, could watch the action and stay dry from the comfort of my car
Didn't really have much time so only popped in to see what was going on.....

Did the KP ever get any action?

Nick> Those Piazza's are pretty rare (none on autorader nationwide!) And to be the instigator for some 're-modelling' of 2 of them!! Good goin......... :p

Nick> Those Piazza's are pretty rare (none on autorader nationwide!)

5 of them in my shed & front/back garden though...

Just finished my green one's resto. Looks pretty mean now with battle scars and a dark blue bumper.

Look out for the Piazza onslaught at Silverstone tomorrow, provided it pisses down like, since they aint all that in the dry unless you've got some crazy Essex dude in the passenger seat pulling the handbrake for ya.

Did the KP ever get any action?

Yes indeed and is an awesome wee car (Ford running gear though). Steve's a useful driver and a top bloke (his zip-ties got me home) and he was elegantly drifting the Starlet through the bends. He didn't attempt any chicken tandori though but would you with circa £20,000 worth of 220bhp Starlet and foot high kurbs and armco?
