East Kirkby Drift days...Sunday Feb 7th

like me, when everyone left i tried to do some drifting in my gtfour... it didnt happen. :cry:

so this time i will have a go in jos r32.... and i have never drifted in my life before, but hey, everyone needs to start somewhere! we had a 1.4 civic on the sprint track going against my 350bhp gtfour.. and it was his first track day i beleive, the day caters for all people hey jo! :thumbs:

really surprised more people haven't signed up for this.

I suppose like me other people may be abit strap for cash atm? plus its silverstone licencing tomorrow and a few of my mates are going to that.

This place is a nice little track.

People should sign up !

Trying to find cash, and a helmet at the mo, maybe got 2 set of tyres to use, I'm in Boston so it's only down the road, Noob though, so expect epic fails
 
well, i had a chat to the insurance company on fri, we can be leanient on the helmets, just means there cannot be another car on the trtack if you dont have one, so not a problem...altho i still advise you have one...
and we will have to wrtie on yor disclamer that your aware of the consequences of driving without one!!!
 
Am i still cool to come along and "test" the skyline? I'll bring the team support wagon aswell. Cant believe there aren't more people signed up for this mate!!! MAD seat time...
 
will be there 2mora :thumbs:only watching tho as my car is not running ,,, just a bit of info i work at kwik fit and have been on the hunt today for you lads who are drifting ,, so anyone thats runnin 16" rims ive got 2 sets of half decent tyres that ill be bringin down 4mil i fink, if anyone wants em cheap

we got down there and was canceled :(,, why didnt anyone post up here that it was canceled , wasted petrol driving there to see it closed (saw lots of people leaving who didnt know it was canceled either ) ,, anyone know when is it getting re-planned for or if it is getting re-planned :thumbs: ??

Hi guys, i asked someone to post on here that it was cancelled...seems he didnt do it..
i have only just gotten in and was at the venue last night so couldnt do it myself..
sorry to everyone who came along, it was fine early in the morning, but got too dangerose later..

bit of a shitter tho as i was looking forward to some skidding!

the next track day will be Sunday 9th May, i hope we have better weather then!

I may have left this too late to get hold of a tow van now but is this still on for May 9th ?????
 
not at the moment im afraid, as the airfield has changed hands, and we have to strike a new deal...but it seems the new owner is reluctant to allow cars!
 
I have been looking into using east Kirkby strip does anyone have any contact details for SESOJ on here so I can get all the details of past events / owner etc etc ,

Anyone that can help please as want to set up something for all us local lot

This was the address given when it was used as a drag strip i'm not sure if they still use it as 1. I think the best way is to give them a call and see who you would need to speak to or if its even used for motor sport anymore contact is:
