Ford Capri Nissan Turbo Project Frankenstein

Hi guys sorry for the lack of updates I don't have much time to get on the forums these days :( , I do have a reason as after being dropped at the paint shop, the guy sat on it for nearly 8 months and did a shocking job. Here are the dents left in it after paint (just some of them)

They also didn't get the colour anywhere near the shade I wanted. This put me off the green idea totally.

So roll on Feb 2015 I finally found KDM Motorsport who swiftly fixed all the problems from the last cowboy. This time I opted for Nissan R32 Grey.

Ive only had it back from paint for two weeks so not made a lot of progress. My mate Simon has welded brackets for the panhard rod and tramp bars onto a mustang axle. So its now sit at the desired ride height.

I will post some more updates when I have something good to take a photo of, and if there is interest ofcourse. Due to the money I have spent on it, it is going to be more of a trackday car.

Cheers
Nick

Thanks guys, the front end is till on a make shift dolly, so hoping to get a few of the parts Simon has made to mount the engine powder coated next week, then I can get it sat on all 4 wheels.

Hey nick, we've all been missing you over on CP, pm me if there's any issues to resolve. Have you driven this yet using the bias box? I just got one but not too sure what's best way to go, use it or use servo

Finally got all the front end assembled, my mate Si helped me shoehorn the engine and box in the car. Pritty easy with the removable slam panel.
This is as it sits now. Just waiting on the windscreen to be made, and Si is making a few brackets to hang the brake reservoir and last of the intercooler hard pipes.
