Oh mate, Im gutted for you. This precisely why I hate using fucking garages. If its not yours, treat it with respect. A similar thing happened to a mate of mine last weekend with his R32 GTR, came back to the garage to find them beating the shit out of it up the road
 
tell him you want the car back mate, or pull his pants down on the price you want.

you could understand a little prank or knock but they have clearly been driving it like fucks

Any insurance or court case will only give you a payout equal to the value of the car, so if you start asking for the car plus a ton of cash the garage owner might just tell you to take him to court, which can be a right ballache.

Personally I'd ask for the value, plus a bit for your trouble and wash your hands of it.
The quicker you can get some money and move on the better.

Oh wow, that really sucks, make sure you ask a decent compensation amount for that, for the work youve put into it too.
 
I feel gutted for you I hope it's at least possible to re-shell it.

Makes me really tempted to wire in a dash cam and just be up front about any dicking around.

Nope just assumed that a thread a I hadn't seen before sitting at the top of the page was actually new. Silly me I guess. Any ways it's not like we're doing any harm it's not like we've pushed an active thread off the front page with this section feeling like a ghost town.
