Hi everybody;
First post and already making a fool of myself

I've got a little problem on my s14.
Its a little mounting problem.

The upper front arm toucht the hub knukkle and I can't put the bold in it.
I could put the bold in, if I lower everything.
But even at the lowest point, if stil won't fit.

What the f*ck did I do wrong.
I must have made a big mistake, but what??

I've got some pics to show it.

Thats the upper front arm that touch the hub, I can't put the bold in

The knuckle that also is on max position. So I can't lower it more.

To me that looks like you have some absolutely insanely low ride height set. If you have the DW hubs fitted, there's no way your camber arm should be at the angle it appears to be in the photo's. It's possibly because of the perspective of the photograph, but my thought is ride height is the problem :). Drop us an email if you have any further problems, but I've never seen that point contact before :).

i dont think its the hieght? look at the shock phillus... seems like all arms are fully short... extend the lower arm out to pivot it, then work around the other arms to get it all setting right. are you sure the traction rod mount on the subframe is straight?

undo the lower arm and the shock, then make the traction link fit, whatever is in the way will become obvious...

although going by those pictures it will be kinda hard to do that.... the Carrier almost looks as tho its backwoods

indeed, if I turn that futher. Then the angle would be greater. And it is already to the max.

All the arm's have the same lengt and shape of the stock.
So could it be, that there is a problem with the hub self?

unbolt the lower arm and rear toe arm, attach the traction link, then adjust the toe arm and lower arm till they fit. try jacking the arm/kuckle up and it should come into line. All this is with the shock absorber off the car.

well spotted steveo! I knew something was off, figured it was the subframe tbh, but that makes perfect sense now you pointed it out. are they DW lower arms then?

yes, front & rear lower arms. 4 arm kit, and hub knuckles.
all of DW and order at the same time for s14.

The dimension of the lower arm are the same as the stock.
So, normaly its only the rose joint.
Maybe the will sent me the right ones. So I won't need to send the whole rear lower arms back.

I had the exact same issue when fitting the dw hub knuckles and four arm kit, Ended up cutting a filing the traction arm to prevent it fowling the knuckle.

Indeed, I removed the lower arm.
And I can just fit the bold in.
But now the arm is flat on de hub knuckle.
So it can't move up or down.

I agree that I could easely make it fit.
But when you pay this price, you asume it fits.
Otherwise I would make my own ones.

Some pics when lower arm is removed.
And the bold is in de upper front arm.
This upper front arm pres on the hub knuckle.
So the hub cant move up or down.
